Let me give you a loose example. At work during the day, I listened to a sports talk radio host that I became weary of in time. What did I do? I changed the station to someone that I found more palatable to the ears. Why can't you do the same?

Look, Noory is making millions of dollars will ruining what was carefully created and nurtured by a man some of us admire.  Your take on Art Bell is YOUR take, doesn't make it right or wrong.  There's plenty to argue both ways, I tend to believe what Art says, he's a bit of a hot head, but no more than me, I don't judge him for his actions because I'd certainly likely do the same things, and so might you, MR. HERO.  We're all not perfect like you.  OTOH, Noory doesn't deserve defense.  He's a hateful, ignorant misinformation clown.  He tells parents to not vaccinate their children and children are DIEING because of these parents taking the advice.  HE gives Alex Jones types full run of the room to spread their diarrhea and hate and lies.  He is too lazy to properly prepare for guests and rather than challenge them to justify assertions, gives them carte blanche access to the air to spout patent BS to the world, and thousands of very gullible people take it all for gospel.  At least Art usually challenged the assertions, he gave guests a chance to say stuff but at the same time, he didn't let them get away from answering the probing challenges, he made people at least try and answer for their assertions.  Noory is making millions off of another man's work and destroying his work, shamelessly.  He's a fraud, Art isn't.  Art can be a bit of a ass (sorry Art, I love ya man, but it's true), but Art is the real deal, the bona fidus or what have you.

It's also true that George Noory has ruined a show that a lot of people liked.  Through carelessness, ego, and dip-shitery.  And he doesn't give a hoot at all about doing so.  Which makes me wonder why he gets annoyed with people pointing it out - what did he think would happen?

After all these years, George Noory still has no discernible skill in hosting a radio show.  He doesn't prepare.  He doesn't listen to responses of the guest to his questions.  He doesn't carry on a conversation - instead he just jumps from one unrelated question to the next.  He doesn't follow up on anything the guest says.  He cuts the guest off in he middle of a point being made or a story being told to go the phones or to ask the next question on his list. 

George has a very limited vocabulary, doesn't think on his feet, can't go more than a sentence without mispronouncing a word, or using one incorrectly.  He doesn't seem to know much about the world around him, and doesn't much care.

His ignorance and mistakes and incompetence are as funny as they are surprising.  He's so bad he's funny - hysterically so at times.  A real Perfect Storm of Suckage.  After I quit taking him seriously as a show host, I'd listen just for the unintentional humor, but now I'd rather just read a few gems here and there from other posters. 

Then there's the man himself.  The delight he shows at the misfortune of others - especially kids and animals.  The personal stories he tells that just don't seem to quite ring true, yet make him seem creepy.  The ego.  The singing.  Routinely dumping guests and hanging up on callers without a word, for no real reason.  The bad books, the bad TV appearances, the bad web TV, did I mention the bad singing.  He's not very bright.  Yet he chugs along seemingly unaware.

He's quite the character study.  How is it THIS is the person who replaced the great Art Bell?  How is it possible he wasn't replaced or canceled right away, let alone after all this time?  How is this all going to end?  WTF?  What is PremRat thinking?

You have to admit some of his comments, some of what he does, and some of his stories are priceless.  It's quite comical.  It begs to be made fun of it, to be satirized.

And we haven't even gotten into the content of his sucky little show

He's bored by the show, shows little interest in it, in the topics, or the guests.  Unless it's some quack medical show or something along those lines.  When his suckage isn't humorous, he's boring.


Then there's his sidekick Tommy.  He's the one who determines which callers get through.  Somehow only people dumber than George are allowed to talk to him.  He apparently trails George everywhere, making sure he remains upright and pointed in the right direction.  He seems to go everywhere George goes.  From George's own description, he's helpless out in the world without Tommy. 

Who would commit to being caretaker and call screener for George Noory for years on end?  What is up with that?


So what about you - please tell me what you like about George Noory.  I'd really like to know.  Did you buy his late night recipe book?

I only listen to C2C now on the weekends when the Snooron isn't hosting on Sunday and when it's not Lisa Garr, who sucks even worse than Snooron. I admit to listening for little bit if I am having trouble sleeping, but mostly, I could not handle the stinking liar and hypocrite Snooron one moment longer, so I just quit cold turkey.

I come here to share and delight in seeing people voice their opinion (our country was based on that freedom) on how such an evil man can be allowed to roam radio land and destroy all he touches.....LOL. Carry on.
