George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No
No

I did hear part of the Sunday show; it could have been entertaining if MacLaughlan and Noory had made Harpo Marx as the subject and dropped the "healing harp" bullshit.  As a kid, I loved Harpo Marx.

Appears none of you got past the harp part of the show. Too bad, the next couple of guests were rather mind blowing.
I took a seminar back in the 1970's on harps in a healing modality and have an understanding of the healing form that music can take.  This notion goes back at least to Pythagoras and probably was used in Ancient Egypt.
The next guest had something to do with the financial end of screwing the Soviet Union into collapsing by orders of Reagan and had a lot to say about all the neo-cons that the GOP forced  on Reagan. So far I see  that none were able to endure the Harp part and totally missed  something that may have filled a few pages here. Lot of small closed minds unable to switch levels and get beyond the fact that Noory sucks and that some times he does have some gems on.

Actually that was the night before, the show you're speaking of featured some fail energy worker which means you are a paid snoory shill and fail horribly just like your boss

Correct n.n., that segment was Sat. nite and was discussed on the Richard Syrett thread, since he was the host - and was pretty good I thought btw.

If he doesn't have a sister, it'll be him in the sling, with Donald Rumsfeld's penis, with you pushing.

Jackstar, you need to be site banned.  How many here like this guy's posts, anyone, someone?

Now if McLaughlin had claimed she could influence weather, Noory could have called for a showdown between harp and haarp.

I didn't even bother to listen to that show about "harp healing" but this is the funniest, I know grammar editors that this is not a real word, comment. I also wonder if Begich HAARP stuff has ever impacted, or is impacting, his brother's career as a politician or involved with the odd disappearance, in a airplane crash of his politician father that also involved some others. That deserves a show in of itself, but with a decent host.

I'll refer you to Quits Dark Matter thread.  Used up my one a year addressing that.  We'll see what happens from there.

To be honest, I might have been able to take the healing harp new age BS (probably not... but you never know...)  The real problem is that I seriously try not to listen to Noory and his stupid remark caused me to turn the radio off before his guest even had a chance.  I like harp music (and organ music, and classical and opera and...)  Well, I would have been willing to give it a chance with any other host.  Just not Noory.

by chance you wouldn't also believe that 9/11 was perpetrated by terrorists armed with box cutters would ya?

Yep.

The only conspiracy theory I can think if offhand that I believe in is the death of Marilyn Monroe. Maybe.

George Drooly

Mumblefuck's gonna have another Twilight Zone classic sheeew for us all this Friday. Stay tuned for that. Might as well be a rerun as George will undoubtedly flip through the Radio Host Rolodex and the moron guest acts as if he's not heard the questions a hundred times before. It must be nice to be on full autopilot all the time. Sort of like an AI that's only achieved mild retardation.

I wonder if Nooron has ever even seen any other TV shows in his six decades of what I loosely call "existence"? You know, there are scores of Twilight Zone Knocks-offs - it's a prominent television genre, actually - that he could talk about, but of course... haha, never mind.

Is it common for people to refer to the World Health Organization, as "the Who", like the band?  If not, George is perhaps starting a new trend.

I just wish people would stop quoting him, it messes up my ignorin'.

FallenSeraph

OMG is he seriously doing a show on the history of BANKS?? Just the way I want to wind down a grueling week.

Last night it was a wacko with a harp and now this.

Screw you, George. I'm tearing myself away from this compelling bullsh*t and switching to Ground Zero podcasts. 😡

Birdie

Lol! My husband is half asleep and I just heard him mumble, 'M-O-O-N, thats spells Carnivora.'

He is very funny when he is in that in between area, just before falling sleep and never remembers the things he says. It is fun to ask him questions, just to see how he answers. This one was unprovoked, I thought he had already dropped off to sleep.

Edit: unprovoked by me, I should say. That damn commercial was on again and it is certainly provocative.

"Just amazing how this politics works."

George is a trendsetter. Once again I left him on for the start and thought it was hilarious when he started talking about the who.  My farourite quote was "the who has recorded 17 cases of polio."

This caused me to laugh and I was thinking that the who has recorded 11 records, toured for five decades and now can add "recorded 17 cases of polio" thanks to Noory... Townshend must be happy.

I predict friday night Noory will quote "To Serve Man" and "wish it into the cornfield"  8)

Interesting second half
Well thought out questions

Ground Zero was interesting last night playing some clips from Webdriver Torso. I love that mystery already

Completely agree.  The asshat attempts to hijack every thread with his/her particular brand of bullshit.  I finally reported him yesterday and have my fingers crossed that some action is taken.

the callers during Open Lines after the psychic private investigator who investigates the afterlife were somewhat depressing or rambling but I did like the one line during the story about the haunted Indian grounds on this guy's neighborhood:
"I had my friend over, you know since my wife was out of town, anyway, SHE was setting on the foot of my bed and I told her how the house was haunted..."
and then he ends with saying that George deserves a Marconi award. I hope his wife wasn't listened to open lines that night.
