I was on the road last night and forced into regular radio.  I like Billy Mumy (total childhood crush) so listened in once the Giants' game was over (beat the Dodgers!)  I haven't listened to GN since Art came back.  This was a perfect chance to illustrate how much he sucks. My daughter's jaw dropped with the pinball-like conversation.  He even had Mumy going back to deliver lines from when he was 5.  This is a near 60 year old artist who has been active all that time.  Mumy was a good sport about it, but it bordered on disrespectful - and not that interesting.  I'm so glad Art is back.

This was a pretty harsh review of an interview he should have been proud of.  I doubt I'm soully responsible, but it's not a hater piece. 

Or maybe it was that the Dodgers went down!

hahaha, i forgot about that guy.  what a jism satchel.  i forgot his display name.  not only was he probably not married, he also has probably never had sex with a woman.  he was trying desperately to project a certain image of himself on the forum.  when he gave me the obligatory, huffy, "i'm leaving" PM, my response was, "see ya."  drama queen.

Poor George. Between the few people around that believe that the only good Noory is one living in a gutter with his show cancelled and George's poor decision to have Oates on, I guess he felt his position here was untenable.

1) in the month i've been here in morocco and art has returned, i've simply lost interest and
2) the david john oates thing almost guaranteed i'd spend the whole interview attacking him, and i don't really care to go down that road.  he'd end the interview anyway if i did.

Yeah, I don't blame you. The Oates thing was inexcusable. I haven't listened to C2C at all since Art returned, though I would have continued to listen if not for the Oates interview.

Maybe you could get an interview with Paul Bowman. He seems really approachable.

Try as he may?  Going back as far as his first appearance on Coast, when has he 'tried' or put effort into anything?  Saying he doesn't give a hoot is giving him the benefit of the doubt - if his current endeavors are the result of him doing his best, that's truly pathetic.

Speaking of no coinschenschs, EXACTLY as I was reading Mr. Pitiful's private message, my husband got an email saying our/his Coast Insider subscription expires 9/29th. We had it to listen to SIT on Saturday night and George Knapp. I usually go to the weekly Insider chat. I would always censor my questions so I could get a question in.

Of course we will not renew. I am awaiting the survey asking why we are cancelling. As if Premrat doesn't know.
Crappy host, the Oates disaster, and we are too busy listening to Dark Matter with the excellent Mr. Art Bell. I love knowing they will get none of our money and hopefully all the revenues are down for these rude SOB's. I will also include something about how they ignored our email complaints all these years and I hope they lose a bundle of money.

Sociopath:  GN doesn't see that he is the problem--at least the way he does things.  People are haters because they let him know what needs to be changed.  To GN criticism is whining and complaining.  He has forgotten, if he ever knew, that he is providing a service by being the host of a show--and it has gotten so bad that we want our money back--so to speak.  But seriously, he was given the heads up on the needed changes--forewarned and ignored it.  He will get no where fast with that attitude. Sad for him.

It's a lot of work being a good host and he is not willing to do the work.  He thinks he has this one...oops!!

I agree with you!!  He's had the opportunity of a life time and because of his arrogance, laziness and lack of skill, blew it.  Even when his pile crashes, he still won't take responsibility for his actions.  Somehow it will be the fault of the haters that he lot his job.  Oh well...

I don't even think that it's a matter of George being lazy or not caring.  I think even if he wanted to change, the guy just doesn't have the intelligence or the skill set to change.  The guy has been in over his head since day one.  Premier thought the "nice generic guy" could pull it off, but he has been an utter failure in corporate mediocrity.
