George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Started by MV/Liberace!, April 06, 2008, 12:23:02 AM

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

The suck that is Noory is everlasting. I have aired my grievances. I have asked him a question or two. Now its time to sit back and wait until September with little to no interest in what happens with Noory now.

The c2cam website recap of last night's show confirms the last hour was a rerun - Noory cuts out an hour early on a Friday yet again and avoids new open lines totally:
The final hour featured a replay of Open Lines from 8/17/12.

The late night hot dog stand must run a Friday night special.  Dave wants to get there before the place runs out of dogs.

I have a friend who can hook you up with some really nice hydroponic chronic. It really calms the nerves.

It's George posting as Gnoory. No reason he needs to keep reestablishing that. If you don't think it's him, go back and read the numerous confirmations.
Except none are actual proof. All those confirmations establish is that the whole thing has been accomplished with the collusion of George/PremRad. I don't understand why the George Noory I've read and listened to for 10 years suddenly doesn't sound at all like him; not just in his attitude and his New Humility, but in his writing style, syntax, grammar and vocabulary. He writes like an entirely different guy. It's like he got an IQ transfusion.

well i would doubt he's just posting off the cuff.  He has two producers that need to read every one of his posts and approve it before that button gets clicked. Even then, he's been known to cut out early from a post and just repost one of his comments from last week.

That's precisely what has happened here. It's the "celebrity effect" ("Oh, he talked to me!"). And now suddenly it's "Gosh, he really does have a lot of courage coming here", "Gee, he's apologized!", and suddenly 10 years of incredibly vile, and arrogant suckage is forgotten. And it wasn't even Noory.

Are you talking about Dave Noorie/PremRat operative or some politician, Sardondi?

I don't see any celebrity effect.

Often times how one writes is different than how they speak. I haven't seen anyone get all enamored.

I really am a bit confounded by this. I am starting to believe some here wish him actual suffering. And for what being an imbecile? Tell me of one person here that if there work were public would not have a list of mistakes over a 10 year period? Granted he is an imbecile, but none of his mistakes cost any of us anything. Add to that if anyone really wanted to avoid his ineptitude why not quit listening? Some if not most of the aggravation most here bemoan is self induced.

Some here really need to get a grip...

Hahaha...that PremRat approach works just as well for making forum posts as it does for selecting guests.  For the amount of money PremRat is spending to prop-up Dave, you'd think they could forget the bureaucracy and hire a competent host.  I guess that would be too simple.

Yes, it's clear whoever it is is close to George and approved by him.  The shout outs have come right away.

The thing is, no underling is going to go on a website posing as their boss, admit they 'drift' during interviews, had 'lost' something (enthusiasm for their job!), or say the current guest still on the show at the time is a lame guest.  Only the person themself is going to say that.  And even that is shocking.

Sure George is a moron, yeah he's terrible with the language - including the written language we've all seen in emails he's returned.  Didn't he even start that way here with the lazy punctuation until called on it?  At which time it got much better.  I'm not sure any of his posts have been so intellectual that it couldn't be him - he does function in a corporate environment after all.

It's him.

That would make an interesting tagline for an ad.

Look'n good for MV!  We truly are in Bizarro World.  The most popular internet forum for a major overnight radio show, who's host is actually posting on said forum's most popular thread which is about how much he sucks.  The ironic thing is the increasing traffic of folks who post on the GNS thread may actually be serving to help keep the very host who sucks in good enough steed for the beloved PremRAT.  To paraphrase a certain Chicago Mayor (Do I smell all beef hot dogs?), "Never let good suckage go to waste."  ::)

Is it September 16th yet?

I sort of like .45 for some reason. 1911s and things like that. Though anymore, guns and ammo have gotten so expensive it's hard to target practice and enjoy it like the old days.
You got that right.

I have to disagree with one point: that his suckage did not cost anybody anything.  It may not have cost posters on CG anything as most have some degree of intelligence and skepticism, but I think he has cost some people dearly in the past.  Allowing platforms to quacks who will cure your cancer and fix your health if you just stop with the traditional treatments has undoubtedly cost people.  Allowing that idiot psychiatrist on the program to tell America that all pharmaceuticals are bad and cause mass murder cannot have done many people much good (I do not dispute that people are often over medicated...)  How many people do you imagine thought that not taking their anti-depressants or anti-psychotics was a good idea after listening to him?  (again, being fully aware of the placebo effect of most anti-depressants.)

I cannot help but feel that his ruining a show did not cost most of us anything in the long run- but some of his shows probably did cost people- and may have cost them dearly.

Again, having said that, Art did a few shows that were similar and almost every show that I have heard seems to have jumped on the "alternative" bandwagon at various points...

Thumbs up on the avatar, Roy.  Boston's first cover was the best.  When I see it, it just screams 1976.  ;D

I've been thinking about crossing into "the dark side" and joining Meanandnasty with a My Little Pony avatar to reflect our very own Age of Aquarius with Dave but I think M&N cornered the best one.  I'm glad to see he at least beat out Dave for it.  ;)

You're correct Sardoni.  I said no one is changing their mind, which was too broad a statement.  There might be some who have succumbed to the celebrity effect with Jorch being here.  I should have said most of those committed to the fact that GNS will not change their minds.  I still find it intriguing that he is here, which I think a lot of people do.  However, I don't think the majority of people are wiping the slate clean of the past ten years of suckage.

The strip search was humiliating enough but when they found the anal implant that even I didnt know about.  Well, Whitley and I have a lot in common.
LOL, sorry about that - that's just wrong to have to endure.  Did you get that implant over to Dr. Roger Leir?

I have made the same argument. But at some point people have to accept responsibility. If I have a doctor giving me medical advice and I choose to ignore it because I trust a stranger more than a person that has a personal relationship with me, I can't reasonably argue that I wasn't a willing participant.

That doesn't absolve a quack from malpractice or malfeasance.

But that wasn't the point I was making. Holding someone else responsible for one's aggravation when one continues to participate by listening is irrational. I don't visit people I do not like. If I do then I am a fool. Listening to noory isn't mandatory. If I order a meal at a restaurant and I don't like it I can complain, ask for a refund, and/or not return. If I return and order the same meal and still don't like it...

Yeah, gotta love the 70's.  I've been watching a lot of Burt Sugarman's Midnight Special videos on YouTube lately.  There are some really good ones like Journey, etc. that people have uploaded.

this analogy works.
basically I'm not even eating... I'm just popping by and making fun of the fry cook on my way to another restaurant.

I posted this a few days ago in response to the "my little phoney" post.  I think Dave wore it last so you might want to have it dry cleaned before trying it on.
