Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

Some are where he actually has shown some humility and even talked about his speech impediment.  One I liked though was I asked him about his guns since he talks about guns often, and he listed the guns he owns.  To me, that was interesting as its something I'm interested in and it told me something about him.
IF it is the REAL Noory, it's some kind of sucky scam. IF it is not, then it's an excellent scam.

Ok and if I do, what?  Was there an opinion on that and who said I have to agree with it?
Yes.

I was shocked when he posted his gun list. I was shocked to see he did not own a shotgun? No simple 12 gauge? I really feel everyone should own a basic shot gun in their home.

Let's see.  Dave and a shotgun.  Yeah, that works.

Dave acts like a douche bag "no! Absolutely not unless he invites me"
Then acts like a semi human being mentions art, comes on the forum , seems generally like he's a ok guy.
Goes back to being a doucher.
Then back to being ok.

Who are yewwwww Dave?

Thanks, ItsOver. I didn't want to be the one to derail ;). But unless one has a good deal of expertise, a shotgun is not a great home defense weapon. It does have some very good advantages but its length and round capacity are weaknesses. Someone else in another thread suggested a pistol called the Judge. There are a few similar weapons and they are designed to fire both a .45 calibre and a 410 shotgun round. which provides a higher capacity and much less ability for a transgressor to grab the weapon.

Sorry to go so far off tangent.

George AKA Dave still continuously sucks.

Good points, Onan.  Dave can have his guns.  I just wish they wouldn't let him have a microphone.

Juan

I just looked up and realized I've pissed away my Saturday morning reading this thread.  I think I'll skip it and concentrate on the Art thread.
Goodnight Mr. Little Noory and Tommie, all the ships at sea and all the starships on their five-year missions.

Are you one person ..... Tommy?

Your 'homage' to the under-achiever is commendable ...... keep up the good work.  Have some dip.

Yeah, at least one.  8)

I thought his comment ".......Ill tell you what I own......as I dont have favorites" to be a little strange.  Usually if you have multiple items of something, you have a go-to one, or a favorite.  No big deal, just thought it was a weird way to say it.

I asked a follow-up on long guns to see if he had any, but he didn't answer.

So he has a .380 - probably carries as a pocket gun. (doesn't name brand - not something I would own, but just my opinion)
Kahr 9 mm - not too bad - he probably carries it too off and on.
Taurus 40 mm (not a brand I would pick, but just my opinion)
.22 - always good for plinking - brand?

Interesting.

A .380 with the right ammunition is a very good close range pistol. I don't own a Kahr but I have fired a few, not a bad gun and the price on them is more than reasonable. In todays economy it is almost impossible to not consider a Taurus. They are built to fire after being dropped in a sand tar pit and they do. Taurus had a few years of inconsistent manufacturing but I think that is pretty much in the past. And from what I have heard from friends their warranty is stellar.

For most people almost any handgun will suffice. That is kind of a shame but it is reality. For someone that plans on shooting one or two times of year to purchase a Kimber would be a waste... a very nice waste, but a waste. noory owning a Kahr kind of makes me think he either doesn't have the paycheck we think he does, or he buys cheap. That isn't necessarily a bad thing.

And GNS.

One of those .45/.410's would be fun to have.  There are tactical shotguns with more capacity however, and that beautiful sound of chambering a round in a shotgun causing an intruder to soil himself - well that would just be priceless.

When the green girl shows up, George is not far behind or lurking.

If George is interested in feedback, he should announce that on his show.

I have enjoyed this thread because I think George abused the show.  Then, I "spoke" with him the other night on this thread, with respect, and it was obvious that he was not interested in doing a better job, just being divisive and emotionally manipulative.

I like making fun of George.  I like being vulgar.  I guess I am not the type of person he wants to "pay" to listen to his show.  But, he will gladly take my social security money to buy frozen food, children, and cough drops (remember to type in the name "George").

And, by the way, he has a delay button for coughing; he can use it for cursing too. This is why the guests are not interesting anymore.

MU was talking about a device that speeds up your brain processes.  Why isnt George talking about that?

There are so many cool subjects like the the war between the greys et al underground in Albuquerque and all of the underground caves/tunnels that they made.  And, what happened to the hole on top of the world?  I want more reptilians, and not that stuff that associates reptilians with the Bible either because that becomes a religious topic rather than about reptilians and reptilians become bad. Same with giants. Keep religion and politics out.

I do not hate George; he just hates the purpose of the show and changed it to fit his own purposes and work ethic.  Did he ever read any Lovecraft?  Jesus Creamus, lazy and no imagination= mediocrity.  I do not understand why George is still around.

He has an agenda and I am a slow learner.  It took me over 10 years to learn that what I liked about C2C was never going to return.  Hope springs eternal but not in this case.

Good points on the Taurus, and the Kimber as well.  Some places are finally starting to get a little inventory at least in my area.

Let's go with that analogy. You ran a company for ten years. It was a success when you inherited it, but incompetence and ineptitude ruined it.

I love this analogy. I see you are a new member, krav magra.
I like your posts and how you think.
Glad to see you here on the forum.

I have, among others, a Hi-Point 9MM (same gun available in .380), and I recommend them to folks looking for a gun for the house, or the car glove compartment (if legal). They're a little heavy and somewhat crude, but they're American-made, guaranteed for life (anything goes wrong, just send it back to the Ohio factory and they'll fix it or replace it) accurate and dependable, and the current MSRP is $179 brand-new. Oh, and they're probably the ugliest guns since the broom-handle Mauser.

Hi-Point also makes carbines in the various calibers. They're just the handguns with extended barrels and stocks, but they're also cheap and fun to shoot.

".......'Cause the public has a short memory. Let me give you a little test, okay? This is my thesis -- the public has a short memory and, like-- How many people remember, a couple of years ago, when the Earth blew up? How many people? See? So few people remember. And you would think that something like that, people would remember. But NOOO! You don't remember that? The Earth blew up and was completely destroyed? And we escaped to this planet on the giant Space Ark? Where have you people been? And the government decided not to tell the stupider people 'cause they thought that it might affect-- [dawning realization, looks around] Ohhhh! Okay! Uh, let's move on!"

I remember.  You cut in front of me in line to the space ark so I "inadvertently" spilled my coke on you.  You turned around and pushed me.  Fisticuffs ensued. Next thing I knew I was in a holding cell.  So, thanks a lot, bitch.

I love that we're into Gun Talk now on this most awesome thread across the nation and around the world.  Spanish made double-barrel 410.

So am I tripping or is George filling in for MV on the pod whilst he's out of country?
