Exactly, it's Bizarro world.  Jorch comes to a site specifically made to document his sucking, then he wants to chat, and admits to us that his guest sucks.  You can't make up that kind of comedy.  That's part of the intrigue over the past couple of weeks.  What would compel Jorch to be here and for all intents and purposes be relatively candid about some things knowing its a thread about him sucking?

I'm having a hard time with anything being funny and fun with so many as kissers now.  So I find a Noory sucks site and its really no longer that, so what's the point?  Noory and his ass kissers killed the thread and Noory lovers are happier than a dog eating his own shit.  Seems pointless to hang with noory fans to me.

Listening to George Noory's pathetic performance over the years, watching even that deteriorate, do you really truly think that even if he starts to put in effort, even if he truly starts doing his best, that somewhere in there he has the ability to put out a quality show?

I don't.  I've listened to enough of it to realize he just does not have the ability, let alone the talent.  His complete lack of knowledge and understanding of the show topics and the world around him alone disqualify him. 

Add in the lack of interest, his (poor) grasp of the English language, the lousy staff he has*, the laziness, all of it... not going to happen.  He can dazzle the PremRats, sign contracts, fly around doing pod-fomercials and conferences, all of it, and it doesn't change the basic reality - George Noory Sucks.  And sucks so completely that it can't be improved to a level of acceptability.  It just can't.  And won't.





*  Staff - his call screeners put on the absolute worst callers.  They are probably instructed to make sure callers aren't smarter than George and won't baffle him with anything unexpected.  Whoever books the guests is just plain shit - there's really no other word for it.

Nope.  I don't use vulgarity in my critiques of Jorch.  I try to stick to the facts and just point out his flaws and weaknesses as a host.

No one is changing their mind just because Gnoory made some posts and some shout outs.  Its interesting that he is posting here.  People find it entertaining and intriguing.  Some people still jump all over Dave, some people are star struck, and most are just using the opportunity to see what the man has to say.  He is being civil to us, and in the interest of playing fair, most are being civil to him.  Most people here do not hate Dave Noorie...

I have mentioned in the past that I have Aspergers and I can honestly say that the last 50 pages of this thread (or more) have reminded me why I am happy to NOT be "normal".  Watching the way that "normal" people react and seem to demand that everybody else react in the same manner as them fries my brain. I always forget the emotions that people carry with them (hatred, for instance) and I forget the screwed up things they cause.

Before anybody decides that I want his man love- I will point out that I am one of those who said they had thought that the world would be better off if Noory ended up hit by a bus, had a stroke or suffered from a disease that would cause his retirement.  That was during his alternative health phase where I figured that he was probably responsible for hurting some of his less intelligent (or more desperate) listeners.  To this day, I am certain that people likely think I am a "hater"... but those thoughts were based on reasoning rather than emotion...

It seems that those shows have since trailed off (or, perhaps I am just not listening as often.)  So, while I no longer wish him ill, I am not certain that I am to the point of lusting after him.  I just figure that so long as he is not actually hurting anybody (or contributing to medical quackery) and he is here it would not kill us to avoid the personal attacks.  Yeah, criticize- even point out the correct pronunciation for Febrauraury if it makes you happy... But there really is no reason to actively attack him (I felt the same way with Art after people would post questioning if he killed his wife.)  There really is no reason.

On a side note, I was listening to an old AB show from the torrent file.  I think it was 1992 and was titled something about HAM radios.  I thought it would be good being as Art had a passion for that subject.  Half way through the guest claims that he can cure almost all diseases and he specifically mentions AIDS (at the time it was quite the scare.)  Art mentions that the claims are unproven (exactly what I said Noory really should be doing at a minimum.)  However, Art did not challenge his friend at all (possibly because he did not want to alienate somebody in the community of HAMs?)

Suddenly, I was reminded that all hosts can, at times suck like a Hoover.  I suppose at least Art did not usually allow these charlatans on his show...

Perhaps Dave and I can have a love/hate relationship?  Or, perhaps I will take whosurmomas advice and just start kissing ass (if I do it will be specifically to piss people off- I have been known to do this.)  Ever tell a staunch feminist that she ought to find a man to take care of her or start popping a few kids out just to watch her explode?

I thought it interesting that tonight he was doing the show while posting here.  One of our biggest criticisms of George is that he doesn't pay attention to his guest, and tonight, if only a short while, we were the distraction.  Sort of like the "grandfather time travel paradox."  Only different.  Mish Shedlock sounded pissed.  I have no idea what Thomas Greanias  was talking about with the "exotic matter" and the games and such.  Andrew Basiago  (I'm not impressed with the Mars face) is one of c2c most batshit crazy ass players, add to that his freakishly calm delivery and you got one compelling good time guest.  Both Coastgab and Artgab Bellgab get a shout out, and for the second time that I can recall the brother Iz song is played into the "wonderful world" part.  Or was that part of the replay of the first time he did that?  Would replaying the first time count as the second time?  What is time?  What if you went back in time and killed your...whatever, play the song, he's done with us.

The truth is that time is money, and if you made more than me, you wouldn't have time to be here to frivolously slag on George Noory and you'd most likely never made it to money with the philosophy that you're wearing on your sleeve. You're hammering that home as hard as you can. Well, if you've got that kind of leeway then you're either a trust funder or an angry-at-the-world Wal-Mart employee. Either way, don't wear your psychology on your sleeve on the internet. Don't advertise it, it's dumb. There are people out there that are smart enough to see through it and call you on it.

Let's go with that analogy. You ran a company for ten years. It was a success when you inherited it, but incompetence and ineptitude ruined it. Some old customers contacted you with hints for improvement when they first saw declining performance. You berated and insulted them. Only "haters" would offer helpful hints. They then found something akin to an online Better Business Bureau. It was filled with honest posts about bad service and shoddy goods. After a decade, the original owner started a new store. His old satisfied customers were filled with anticipation as they had fond memories of quality management and merchandise. The owner of the inherited store then appeared out of the clear blue sky, and he asked for ideas on how to improve his store. He even hired a PR flunky (that would be you) to cheerlead for him, and he transparently asked for tips on how to improve, even though such tips regularly were ignored in the past. Too little, too late. No sale. Not all of us are babies and toddlers naive enough to fall for the "got your nose" game. However, honesty would be appreciated.
