I think the ideal thing for the moderators of this website to do, would be to abolish this thread and all of the negativity now that Mr. Noory has appeared here.  By removing the vitriol and negativity it might encourage Art Bell to come here.  I just don't think Mr. Bell is inclined to come into a forum of such rude immaturity and I thought a nice title for a thread could be "George Noory's Interactions with Coast Fans."

Are you kidding me? There are some real gems in this thread. Some of us have been on this site for years. There is a positive Thread elsewhere. Why should be abolish a thread? Last time I looked we have free speech don't we?  And while we're on the topic I am not buying any of the crap for a minute. Wow. Just Wow. I never post anything super negative, I am posting my views on this topic. And also, the above quote is off topic. This is the sucks thread, period. that can't happen.  if you want to see this forum die a quick death, then let's start tinkering.  if you want it to remain vibrant and active, then things should stay as they are.  however, it doesn't mean people can't be respectful and civil.

there's a wasteland of dead noory/c2c/bell forums out there.  they're dead in part due to the mistakes made by moderators in the course of trying to create a cushy environment the hosts could endorse.

For the record I am not trying to run anyone off, after reading my post. I am simply saying a positive thread exist and many of us have contributed to this one. I don't think based on one person's request we should discount years of this thread. I still believe there are better listening options out there and I am going to take them. I guess I would hope that all of you who are supportive of this turn around really think about it. I mean why now? I just question things, and one night does not erase ten year for me and the ruining of a show I once loved.

You know. When George first showed up i thought cool, I can get off my chest what bothers me about his c2c, maybe it would help.

Then I started to see posts by some of the veterans like lonevoice etc who were calling bullshit on the whole thing and that the reason George is here is to disrupt the board. Then people started pointing out how weird the newer people were.

I didn't know what to think til now. Clonazepam you suggesting we get rid of this thread puts a giant red flag on who you are. (And I'm not saying leave or what have you) but luckily people on here are too smart to fall for such bullshit. But the amount of just general high strangeness has made me realize that more is going on here than we realize.

Honestly I'm not at all surprised nor impressed that "George" is now posting here.  It's disingenuous at best. Phoning it in for the last 8 years, pointing fingers, blaming everyone else but yourself and your crew. Now it's "aw hey let's be friends. I'm really a nice guy. Look at the good job I'm doing now. " In reality all it is is damage control. Forced. Play nice and maybe they will leave us alone. It's all part of the new PR campaign (ie: more Art-ish type music) to try and win people over.

Getting excited about George doing his job reminds me of an old Chris Rock skit about guys wanting credit and bragging about shit they are supposed to do.

All that being said I'm glad George is making an effort. A lot of people listen and support the show he owes them 100% effort. I wonder though, is it going to stick this time? ...or are the listeners going to get a few months of "engaged" George and then back to the same old crapfest?

Obviously anyone can join into this forum and that is fine. While the general opinion that GNS, others have various view points and, again, that is fine.

I suggest people read Miss C's sting of posts that strangely appeared just when "Mr. Noory" popped in.
