holy shit this forum is amazing.

Art himself joined the forum, and fast forward to now where we have Art returning to some form of radio (which only the loons expected) and George himself now posts in the GNS thread.  Un fucking real.

I can't keep up with it all.

I find it confusing as to why you didn't email Art sooner to congratulate him and why you were so quick to say "No! Absolutely not!" about being a guest on his show.  It sounded like the question really boiled your blood.

Actually you could address the comments.  What do you do all day, you certainly don't seem to have prepared at all much of the time.  You are even on record as saying you want do the interviews 'fresh' and 'on the fly'.  If you are convinced not preparing is for the best, what do you do all day and what about the '8 hours of daily show prep' you used to claim to do?


What are you doing during the show?  Because when you routinely ask questions the guest basically just answered, or cut a guest off just as they are about to make the point they have been building up to for a couple of minutes, or fail to ask the obvious follow up when the guest says something important, it's clear you were not listening.


These questions can only be answered by you here.  Even I you improve I'd still like to know what was up with this.

So in addition to the 4 hours on the air, there's probably another 8 added on.

I research EVERY Guest. they all supply questions--- they did to Art as well.. We both very rarely use them.

Yes I have used the internet to research something the guest may bring up, or when a caller does the same.

Im not competing with Art. Satellite radio is a very different creature...and as for lackluster for ten years....cant agree there. Ive already said there's always room for improvement, but when this is said and done I would have done this at least 20 years, I dont think lackluster gets that far.

What I am is NOT what you are used to hearing. Now can I improve? Absolutely

you should parlay that into george coming over and babysitting your animals for a few hours or something.  there's probably grass to be mowed and dishes that also need cleaning.  you hold leverage in your hands.

The screener checks for phone quality, how drunk someone is etc and then puts them on hold.

We are used to hearing you. What seems lacking to me, is a lack of critical thought. I can't think of any specific statements at the moment. But often your guests say some pretty outlandish things... sometimes things that can lead to a listener making a bad choice aboout their health. And you let it pass. I do find that reprehensible.

perhaps it's been explained here already and i haven't seen it yet, but why the delay in acknowledging art on c2c in some meaningful way?  the perception around here is that you guys were soiling yourselves and had no idea how to proceed about the matter, or that you decided to simply ignore it until the prank calls started.  i think it's the timeline of these events that causes some of the users here to be suspicious of your sudden and conspicuous presence in these parts.
