George Noory Sucks! - The Definitive Compendium

Can Noory pronounce anything correctly?

No

Georgie was recalling for the first time (first time on every show mentioning space) when as a kid (physically a kid), how he sternly lectured his science teacher the "universe is the same, everything's the same," the "primordial soup" or cosmic goop is the same anywhere you are in the universe. There may be a number of accomplishments in a broadcaster's life to be proud of and worth repeating, but for a senior adult that isn't one of them.

We know that space-head Robert Zimmerman "likes to see the evidence and the data." This is why whenever global warming is discussed and the evidence for AGW is presented, Robert flatly disregards (denies?) the evidence and the data, exactly like "science lover" Georgie.

Prepare for another sNoory approved Putin apologist in 3...2...1...

George passed up a career playing major league baseball to serve his country

That's George Noory. Tonight, he recalls his high school days clearly -- but forgets there is no press he ever played sports at Harvey S. Lowery High School from 1965 to 1968 and is not listed on any roster or shown in any team picture of "The Polar Bears" squad.

Odd how he recalls one high-school teacher. Then negates all those archives from "The Lowery Light" high-school newspaper in which men's the-then baseball coach Mr. Schultz fails to mention "George Noory" as being part of his squad.

Wow. So good to get to the major leagues, as he claims today, without any press from his day? He was that good? Remember, Noory claimed it was his mother that taught him baseball.  Like she won't have those press clippings of his accomplishments that Noory can post on the "Coast" website today to prove his claims?

Noory, playing wiffleball in your backyard against your own mother -- who he described as having a "wicked fastball" -- doesn't make you some baseball star, some candidate for a collegiate scholarship or far worse, Major-League Baseball material. Noory, you said something there seems to be -- please correct me if I am wrong -- no evidence to support. No press anywhere about your supposed athletic prowess you claim. What can that mean to those of reason and truth? You lied? And are nothing but lies?

Noory, let me explain: Collegiate and pro scouts get clipping services and read about prospects. If you had no press about you, what colleges or even professional teams would send people to check you out? I suppose in Michigan, you can claim you had to choose among all those NCAA Division I colleges courting you -- like Michigan, Michigan State, Ohio State, Penn State, Notre Dame (a very big baseball school that would have sought out the best) -- and you rejected them because you wanted to make your family pay for your college, instead?

So much for being "sooooooooo good" at baseball and athletics as you "claim."

Yeah, he trots this out with increasing regularity.
George Noory, boy genius, who set his science teacher right and grew up to be a Big Bang sceptic and climate change denier who believes that demons and angels are real.

This, from the same scientific "genius" who thinks that snake charmers' music has an effect on cobras, as he stated a few years ago about how music and such sounds can "sooth" such reptiles.

Noory is a dunce. For being major "science" genius, he forgets that all snakes are deaf. He thinks they have ears. All snakes, Noory, are oblivious to airborne sounds, voices and "music." The reason they flick their tongue in-and-out is because that is a sensory organ to detect changes in air density such as movement. When things move they displace air. That's all snakes perceive. Kind of like how a smoke-detector works. Changes in air density.

Mr. "scientist" George Noory who thinks snakes can hear sounds? Then claims tonight he took his science teachers "to task" when it's him that is a huge, ignorant imbecile who knows as little as the day is long.

Guest on talking about horror genre.  Which of these will George mention first?

1. Nosferatu (Weird-looking vampire!)
2. Twilight Zone (To serve man!)
3. Clowns (I hate them!)

TigerLily

I'm putting up with Noory to hear about my favorites: horror movies and tv shows. I like this guy

This is a classic example of a disjointed interview.  Unrelated 3x5 card questions, one after the other, with no context or continuity.  Plus I think he just asked if Stephen King's books have horror elements in them.

Thanks for the credit TL.  Twilight Zone came up but George didn't bite.  So unless guest brings up Poltergeist or It, I'll probably just be 1 for 3 tonite.

'Stephen King has a great mind. A great mind. And some of his books have that horror feel to them, don't they?'

Yes, Joorch. Like some of those Marx Brothers movies have that comedic feel to them.

Perfect Noory moment when Chris Alexander talked about Yvette Vickers. Mentioned briefly she was in Attack Of The 50ft Woman', bit part in Sunset Boulevard, Playboy Playmate, etc. She had become reclusive and died at home from a heart attack, but was not found for a year. The lights and TV in the house were still on. Alexander surmised maybe the bills were tied to a credit card or paid straight from her account or by a third party.
Shortly after, Joorch observes 'She was in that 50ft Woman movie, wasn't she?' and follows it up by asking 'But who was paying the bills?'

another weird Noory time loop with the horror movie guy when George tried to stump him with "Welcome to woop-woop" and the guest had the exact same reaction(never heard of it) he had 4 months ago

Still better than Jorch is at baseball, Zeeb.

After talking about Hitchcock last night, George wondered out loud how Hitchcock came up with his movies.  "Did he just do it, or was he creative?"  No George. Absolutely no creativity is needed when making movies.  ::)

The previous time Chris Alexander was on Coast he was interviewed by Richard Syrett and it was a blast.  If anything it was for his tale of hanging out with Nicolas Cage.  ;D   8)

Ah yes. I remember that one. He said Nicolas Cage tackled an ostrich and then serve testicles for dinner.

Noory must be listening to a long delay from the guest's audio thru his big studio headphones?  8)

Linda Howe tonight - Noory can take naps for 3 hours while she does her taped interviews...

Pretty funny last nite when, coming back from break, the guest insisted on finishing a half-told anecdote that George had clearly checked out on.

Most definitely.  The Best of Jorch shows are those without him.

Here We Go Again. So many times, when some celebrity dies, George Noory is right there to tell us he or she was a big fan of his. When they die, that can't be confirmed and Noory knows that. Even though such never appeared on the "Coast" program -- as any such celebrity who made the foolish move of doing that found out Noory is a leeching hanger-on and tried to impose himself on them and distanced him or her self after that.

Now, it's the late, great Alan Colmes. Of course, Noory claims he was some dear associate and, of course, there was only some email exchange and no public disclosure in the past that Colmes ever gave Noory the time of day.

Remember when Robin Williams died? Then we heard and it was implied he was some "fan" of Noory? That George Noory is no dummy. He waits for some celebrity to die, then like the rotten vulture and scavenger he is to "feed off the dead," ponces on such to try and feed his ego and convince fools he was some insider.

One of George Noory's "I'm tight with a recently dead celebrity" bit came a few years after the passing of actor James Gandolfini. How Noory related he "went up to him" when the poor man was just trying to enjoy his dinner with family free of "obsessed fans" at a Los Angeles-area restaurant, as the unknown, hanger-on loser radio host offered to pay for the table's bill.

How insulting! Who in the hell is that Noory and why does he feel compelled to impose himself and bother these celebrities and disturb their peace? Hey, you No one or Noory or whatever your name is, are you implying Gandolfini is a pauper? Huh? Who "needs" you to pay for his bill? Huh? Get this straight you toupee-headed fool, Gandolfini earns more money in one week than you do in ten years! Get off his back and don't you insult these people like that. He doesn't need you for sh*t!

I'm surprised George Noory hasn't been banned from those Los Angeles restaurants for preying on and stalking celebrities like the obsessed fan and little hanger-on he is. I bet he got warnings from the assorted maître d' of such high-end places to stop harassing these celebrities. That includes stalking them, sneaking up behind them in the men's room like a vulture at the urinals and trying to chew their poor ears off.

George Noory, there is something called theatrical agents. They handle any all requests. Don't bother the celebrity ever in public. You deal with their agents -- OK? No one discusses business or anything else with such fools and all of that Noory, as you may become educated, is addressed by their agents!

Ding!

Even more grotesque are his ''tribute shows'', when an actual guest dies.
