Agreed.  It was bad enough with just TV and radio, but now we have social media blitzing us every time a candidate farts.  Even the political satire (which I've always enjoyed) is starting to wear thin.

Of course the conspiracists would say that was the objective of the global elite.  They want us to be apathetic because then then they would have an easier time puppeteering the candidates and (s)electing who they wanted.

If it turns out to be true, there's no one to be blamed but Cruz being just one more holy roller hypocrite who thought he was way too smart to be found out.  But the story's still radioactive so we'll have to wait and see.

I remember saying the EXACT same thing in 2008 when the John Edwards story broke (Yup Edwards was my guy, looking back,  yikes lol) [edit in: Ah you beat me to it)

But this Cruz thing is a strange  story, especially with a current major Trump media cheerleader as being one of the women (what must have he been thinking when she starts becoming a major Trump spokeswoman) plus multiple Republican strategist, it's certainly an interesting way to pick which Republican candidate to go for, probably still more credible than picking who's got the hottest wife 

Trump needs to stop with this Lyin' Ted crap.  He is going to lose voters who might otherwise vote for him in the general election.  It reeks of immaturity and is hardly presidential.  He is only guaranteeing a Hillary win if he continues with this tactic.  He will never win a presidential election if he keeps carrying on like this. Of course, maybe that is what he wanted all along.  I urge all Trump supporters to respond by telling him to act presidential rather than continuing with the schoolyard bully routine.

I am actually not sure how this will turn, will Cruz supporters feel like you are and say " F U Turmp and your dirty politics I will never vote for him" OR will they think Cruz is a hypocrite and even though they think Trump is a jackass, Cruz let them down by his so Trump is not that much worse than him anyway. If I would bet,  I think these religious/conservative voters are all major hypocrites and don't really care about "morals" or "family values" nearly as much as they preach they do. Sure they like to point their fingers to the other side, but if it happens on their side of the fence they will shrug their shoulders and say "Jebus forgives" I honestly don't think this will "John Edwards" his career but we'll see. But hopefully we will get away from the religious preachy politician but I doubt it.

As for Trump, I am pretty sure he he will mock Cruz for only having an affair with five women and Trump would claim "That's nothing, I have affairs with fifty women, each one more beautiful than any of the Cruz women"

She's paid staff and they jump between campaign jobs at will.  The same faces are on the TV panels as in 2012, and even '08, but working for someone else.  That their zeal is so easily transferred shows why "political whore" is actually more than a disparaging term.

I'm still not investing in this potential godsend, but I have to say the pieces fit seamlessly and the $500K paid by Cruz's PAC to Fiorina's PAC is really suspicious.
