Agreed.  It was bad enough with just TV and radio, but now we have social media blitzing us every time a candidate farts.  Even the political satire (which I've always enjoyed) is starting to wear thin.

Of course the conspiracists would say that was the objective of the global elite.  They want us to be apathetic because then then they would have an easier time puppeteering the candidates and (s)electing who they wanted.

What's reaaalllyyyy interesting is there's been rumors of Lollipop and mentions of this on /pol/ for awhile before the balloon popped tonight.

In one move Trump has destroyed two of his biggest enemies on the right in Cruz and Shapiro.

Hmm...Evidently this was deemed a "fake Anonymous" report when released for Super Tuesday.

Literally the day after Yeb announces his support for Cruz too.

Haha, yes he wouldn't miss an opportunity to tell us how much he's accomplished by simply throwing his name in the hat.  Maybe he'll recoup the money he's spent on his campaign by producing another reality TV show where he pretends he actually won.

Yes, young lady, fantastic, unbelievable idea! There's a place for you in the Trump Organization. Shall we call the new show "The Real Winner"? I mean, was there ever any doubt?

Yeah, he's pretty good at destroying people he doesn't like. And there must be lots of them. The Secret Service people assigned to him must love having to protect him. Mucho action. And no one they'd rather take a bullet for.

When Ted punches someone, steals from them, ruins someone's life, let me know. So he fucked someone, that has never ever happened before. Jesus, Really?

If it turns out to be true, there's no one to be blamed but Cruz being just one more holy roller hypocrite who thought he was way too smart to be found out.  But the story's still radioactive so we'll have to wait and see.

None of the MSM are touching it, but the N.I. accurately nailed John Edwards and Tiger Woods among others for pretending to be Mr Clean while boinking the help.

I'll wait 'til it gets traction beyond The Inquirer before I start snickering.

I remember saying the EXACT same thing in 2008 when the John Edwards story broke (Yup Edwards was my guy, looking back,  yikes lol) [edit in: Ah you beat me to it)

But this Cruz thing is a strange  story, especially with a current major Trump media cheerleader as being one of the women (what must have he been thinking when she starts becoming a major Trump spokeswoman) plus multiple Republican strategist, it's certainly an interesting way to pick which Republican candidate to go for, probably still more credible than picking who's got the hottest wife  :D

Trump needs to stop with this Lyin' Ted crap.  He is going to lose voters who might otherwise vote for him in the general election.  It reeks of immaturity and is hardly presidential.  He is only guaranteeing a Hillary win if he continues with this tactic.  He will never win a presidential election if he keeps carrying on like this. Of course, maybe that is what he wanted all along.  I urge all Trump supporters to respond by telling him to act presidential rather than continuing with the schoolyard bully routine.

I am actually not sure how this will turn, will Cruz supporters feel like you are and say " F U Turmp and your dirty politics I will never vote for him" OR will they think Cruz is a hypocrite and even though they think Trump is a jackass, Cruz let them down by his so Trump is not that much worse than him anyway. If I would bet,  I think these religious/conservative voters are all major hypocrites and don't really care about "morals" or "family values" nearly as much as they preach they do. Sure they like to point their fingers to the other side, but if it happens on their side of the fence they will shrug their shoulders and say "Jebus forgives" I honestly don't think this will "John Edwards" his career but we'll see. But hopefully we will get away from the religious preachy politician but I doubt it.

As for Trump, I am pretty sure he he will mock Cruz for only having an affair with five women and Trump would claim "That's nothing, I have affairs with fifty women, each one more beautiful than any of the Cruz women"  8)

Well Cruz just got Bill Clinton's endorsement.

Not to mention, John Edward's Vote

She's paid staff and they jump between campaign jobs at will.  The same faces are on the TV panels as in 2012, and even '08, but working for someone else.  That their zeal is so easily transferred shows why "political whore" is actually more than a disparaging term.

I'm still not investing in this potential godsend, but I have to say the pieces fit seamlessly and the $500K paid by Cruz's PAC to Fiorina's PAC is really suspicious.

This is why I NEVER vote for these Christian candidates. It's almost expected that the most religious ones are the most corrupt and immoral of the presidential choices.

Trump is a slimy f***** pig. The man utterly disgusts me. How anybody could vote that asshole...

Thank God he will NEVER be president.

It's going to be glorious when he turns that machine loose on Hillary during the GE.

Pretty much. There are two types of Christian, those that faithfully believe and those that know how to work them for political or financial gain.

Again....trump is the slimiest pig I`ve ever seen operate in the political arena. A disgrace; a phony and dangerous to the future of this Republic. It is documented that he lies more than any candidate in HISTORY! We shouldn`t be the least bit surprised that he is attempting to use his his good buddy, David Pecker (aptly named), at the National Inquirer to launch a disgraceful smear campaign against Cruz and his family.

What the hell are you talking about? Every week Clinton crushes him in new polls. Trump is sinking, not rising in the polls. Put the kool-aid down, breathe some fresh air. Trump CAN NOT win a general election. Cruz CAN. If we have any chance of defeating Clinton, Cruz is the only one left that can do it.

Tread carefully, o Cruz zealot; the N.I. has a pretty good record at exposing scumbags.

Hmmm; makes you wonder what he'd do if the common man or woman got in his way. He's got the means to really ruin someone's day.

Man of the people? Yeah right.

Ha. Cruz personifies chutzpah; his people try to slime Mrs Trump then he claims with high dudgeon to be the damaged party when Trump responds with a puckish tweet...and the a-hole is repeatedly insinuating that DT has "gone after" his daughters.  Scumbag.

Don`t be crazy. N.I. also has a pretty good record of getting the shit sued out of them. The CEO is a very close personal friend of Drumpf`s. If this were anybody else, you`d be all over it calling BS.

Don`t you find it it just a wee bit strange that Trump spokesperson, Katrina Pierson, a person named in the scandal, stated for the record, "Of course the National Enquirer story is 100% FALSE!!!"? Of all people, she would might have an inside scoop and the motivation to confirm this horseshit story.

This might be the one thing that blows-up in Drumpf`s fat, orange face.

Um, for the umpteenth time, it was not Cruz`s people. The Pac was completely unaffiliated with the Cruz campaign. Cruz had absolutely ZERO to do with it, the Pac`s CEO even publicly stated this fact. However, Drumpf, can not say the same. it is HE who personally attacked Cruz`s family. YUUUUUUUUUUUUUGE difference. Get a clue.

Better ask John Edwards, Gary Hart, Jesse Jackson, Tiger Wood et al about that.
