Is that your A game? Really? Security advisor gets booted not even a month in because he was tipping off the Russians and lied about it,  you're going for face pulling?  ::)

Tipping off the Russians?  If he had done that he would be up on criminal charges as we speak.  The acting AG had a full transcript of the conversations.  If a crime had been committed do you not think she would have preferred charges?  Another instance of your flawed reasoning.

It's a pity that principled stand wasn't taken during the election when those hacked emails came out about Hillary.

Hillary' emails that were released were NOT the result of hacking.  The were released due to various lawsuits and FOIA requests.

If they were the result of hacks, we would have gotten a glimpse of the 33,000 that she had deleted.

just sayin....

Hillary Clinton Email Archive
On March 16, 2016 WikiLeaks launched a searchable archive for over 30 thousand emails & email attachments sent to and from Hillary Clinton's private email server while she was Secretary of State. The 50,547 pages of documents span from 30 June 2010 to 12 August 2014. 7,570 of the documents were sent by Hillary Clinton. The emails were made available in the form of thousands of PDFs by the US State Department as a result of a Freedom of Information Act request. The final PDFs were made available on February 29, 2016.

Have I? Which bits? Anyway, what I say will have zero effect on Trump et al; but that doesn't make him viable. Allied security services are holding back on giving the WH intelligence, because they don't trust it to stay there. Doesn't that concern you? You're ex military, and Im sure you had access to intel not sourced from the US IS, but allied. Whatever Trump might believe, the USA needs allies.

I won't comment on what subcategories of classified information I had access to.  I would be interested in knowing your source for the statement that security services are holding back on sharing intel.

No one is questioning that the DNCs emails were hacked.  The Wikileaks source you cited is the DOS.  The documents were produced by the DOS in compliance with a court order.

In other words, I'm right. I expect a full apology on my desk in the morning.  In triplicate.

There is a very good chance that HRC emails were hacked, as well as the DNC, and we know the Podesta account was.

HRC emails on wikileaks were NOT the result of a hack

DNC emails MAY have been a result of a hack or may have been a result of an insider such as Seth Rich

Podesta emails were the result of a hack

NONE of which were the same class as a leak of classified information by a current government employee, which revealed that the government was monitoring communications of Russian diplomats

It's so hard to keep up with every twist and turn that goes on in these banana republics.

And it's a good thing they were, now we know the Trump camp was in daily contact with the Russians. If the shoe were on the other foot you'd be praising the intelligence. Trump and his comrades are pissed because they got caught, not that what they did was wrong. Thus they want to focus on the leak, not their behavior.

The leak was illegal.  There is no prrof that the behavior was.

Ad this happened while Obama was President.  He took no action.  Seems to imply that he did not see it as an issue.

It remains to be see whether it was illegal, but it was highly unethical and that's why he got canned. Obama wasn't in the position to make him resign, was he?

And if Obama did take some action, the squealing of the right about interfering with the electoral process would have been deafening.

If it was truly illegal, Obama was in a position to bring charges.

Not sure why you are having trouble understanding that.

The Trumpers didn't squeal about ethics when Trump was imploring Russia to reveal Clintons e mails. Funny how karma has a habit of being such an inconvenient bitch.

Obama didn't have to do anything. Better yet Trump would hoist with his own petard, than bother
to get involved in a mess on his way out the door. Too bad you can't pin this on Obama.

You're not familiar with investigations are you? Proper investigations follow the evidence, all of the evidence. If Flynn had been charged back at the beginning of January, tying up a prosection lawyer team, they wouldn't be dealing with what is likely to come in the coming weeks and months. The FBI have only just started. There'll be much more to come. You can quote me on that.  ;D

I don't think anyone has said conclusively that he broke the law, they are saying that it's a possibility pending further investigation. Obama has always been safety-first anyway, and he wouldn't dive into something unless it was iron-clad, especially during an election.

I wouldn't put it past them. Trump has yet to tweet today he was robbed of the popular vote on his sunny inauguration day. :)

Anybody that downplays the leaking of classified information in order to discredit a Trump official has zero credibility.
Here is a thought for you...

You don't think that the alphabet soup spooks own Trump lock, stock and barrel?  They record EVERYTHING that every citizen has done for the last decade.  Every phone call and email.  And you don't think that once he was the president elect that somebody went through them and heard every shady dealing and every illegal bribe to a foreign official and his banking info looking for transactions and where they came from and went?  You seriously don't think that they spent thousands of hours to know every skeleton in his closet?

Look at the history of those agencies going back to the files that Hoover kept and tell me that you honestly believe that there is not a massive file on him... Now tell me again how he is free and beholden to nobody.

Lt.Uhura

If he has nothing to hide, Trump should welcome a thorough investigation.

The winning began with that dreadful cunt Hillary Clinton not being President, it continued with a surge of illegal immigrant arrests, and still continued with countless jobs being created, along with stocks&bonds reaching record highs.

I could name a bunch more, but where have you been?

And him suggesting they were part of a fake news conspiracy and likened to nazis won't have endeared him very much. A POTUS taking on the spooks is only going to end one way, and it won't be pretty.

Countless jobs? Be specific.

The reason the shares rose is because Trump has revoked the need for oil and gas companies to reveal the bribes they pay to foreign countries. But you knew that right?
