Nah. Tried looking for legit info about Wanta on the Internet. Found zero.

I clicked some links, but seems like if it was real, then it seems like the court case would be out there.

Just Me

That was some weird shit with Collin Hall talking about those car crashes in France somewhere else where nobody was found in the burning cars and some how later the bodies show up and that strange freak in the morgue injecting some strange brew into the corpses.

That was one weird story and had my full attention cause the world is nothing like how people think they see it.

I found the whole story from Leo Wanta to be ridiculous, but like the caller near the end who pointed out that the Soviet Ruble didn't trade on the open market, so how could he have crashed it, it's impossible to disprove.

A couple points of internal inconsistency from that program however.  The filmmaker commenting on Wanta in the first hour said that he was appointed by President Reagan in 1987-1988 to bring down the Soviet Union, but Wanta himself said he hadn't been in the United States since 1985.  Still possible he could have been appointed, but this strikes me as a little odd.

More importantly though,  the filmmaker said Wanta was chosen, in part, because he had a virtually perfect memory.  So, the first thing Wanta, who obviously didn't hear Syrett's interview with the filmmaker, said at the start of his interview was "does anybody have donuts, I forgot to eat today."  Wanta also said that he lived in some place around Toronto but got the name of it, Etobicoke, wrong.  Etobicoke was merged into the city of Toronto along with a number of other areas in 1998, but I'm pretty sure Wanta said he lived in Canada and Etobicoke prior to 1998. How many people with 'virtually perfect memories' forget the name of a city they lived in?

There are a handful of people with near total recall, the actress Marilu Henner is one of them, but, though I don't think the phenomena of people like Marilu Henner was even known about when the filmmaker said that Wanta was hired, in part, due to his virtual total recall, I heard nothing that suggests that Wanta has any great memory.  Of course, he's much older now, but his problem doesn't seem to be some kind of early stage of Alzheimer's or dementia.

The main reason, of course, the Wanta story sound ridiculous is because he says he's worth over $30 trillion.  There isn't even another person on the planet worth more than about 1/300th of that.  The only way I could see how he could have made that kind of money would be using the idea of putting a grain of rice on a space on a chessboard and constantly doubling it.  The numbers start off small: 1,2,4,8,16, but by the 30th square or so, the numbers are in the trillions.  However, the only way I could see anybody be successful at that would be to use insider trading and constantly going double or nothing, but to a ridiculous degree.

Supposedly in the last hour tonite Rich's guest will do a live on-air past-life regression.  Might be a first for C2C.  Hopefully George "Maybe I Shouldn't Do The Live Ouija Board Thing After All" Noory won't put a stop to it.

I actually agreed with Noory for not doing the Ouija Board thing because I think his show has a lot of unstable listeners who might have been affected in some harmful way had they gone ahead with it.  Not that the board would have done anything, but they might have thought it had.  I'd like to hear a skeptic like Jim Bohannon do a Ouija Board show, though.

Well I listened to it, and thoroughly enjoyed it. Right questions at the right time. Very slick style as well. I've just downloaded a couple of his podcasts and they're also very good.

Can't believe he wasn't on my radar before, but now he most definitely is. And the best bit is I've got a 2 year back catalogue to catch up on. My bus ride to work now looks a lot sunnier :)

Syrett is a great host!

The past life reading last night was supposedly of a miner who had a bad accident around 1841 around California/Nevada with the name Bill/George?
But that was years before gold was discovered in California and wasn't the area still under Spanish control then?

Anybody else listening to this show about Wanta?
He is always hilarious but so much BS. Reminds me of, though somewhat different subjects, Benjamin Fulford with the wild theories. Wanta is going to build a train system, solve the student loan crisis, and everything else!
ps: "Will" from Wisconsin called in! Always a plus! But about organized crime, not Finnish-Urgic theories as much*, that he "spear-headed the RICO Act" in 1967. Lee Wanta says the NWO is "not a good deal." And "organized crime does not help the American people!"
* though he got Finland "free from Russia" -after spending 3 months in prison in Russia.

The gold rush in California, of course, was in 1849 (San Francisco 49ers) but gold had been discovered before then.  So, it's possible he was telling the truth, but I didn't here the show.

James A. Marshall discovered gold in California on January 24, 1848 at Sutter Creek.  There is no mention of gold discovery in California by the Spanish.  The native population was probably aware of its existence though.  I'd say the past life reading was in error.  Word gets around fast especially when someone is obviously mining for it.  Equipment has to be bought. A mine must be built. You can't keep it a secret no matter how stealthy one is.

Motivated people can do some amazing digging and not all gold, etc needs deep mines. But think POWs, prisoners,  cartel smugglers, persecuted religions etc have built extensive underground tunnels etc often in secret. And consider vast expanse and lack of comms?

Oh I agree it was a bad idea - I just think he was a jackass the way he built it all up then bailed on it.  Most people in the paranormal field will tell you they are not toys, and can be unpredictable, for better or worse.  My own personal experiences back this up so I think the subject should not be treated casually.

Strangely enough, the downbeat vibe of the story kinda had me thinking it could be real.  I would guess most fakers spice up their tales more.  The reading was impressionistic so maybe the dates get blurred, e.g. she could have picked up on that date as being meaningful for some other reason.  Who knows.

Time Travel & Ascension/ Fighting Jihad

Saturday - July 16, 2016

Hosted by Richard Syrett

Guest(s): Jason Quitt, Sebastian Gorka, Bob Mitchell
Joining Richard Syrett in the first half, author and reporter Bob Mitchell, and multi-dimensional 'time traveler,' Jason Quitt, will discuss how our world isn't what we think it is. They suggest it's a realm that's fought over and protected by otherworldly and dimensional beings, as humans embark on an ascension process, awakening our consciousness to peer beyond the veils of known reality. In the latter half, counterinsurgency expert Sebastian Gorka outlines how America can decisively win the war on terror by delegitimizing the enemy in the eyes of its followers, a strategy that won the Cold War.

Energy Efficiency/ Dwindling Bees

Sunday - July 17, 2016

Hosted by Richard Syrett

Guest(s): David Yurth, George Scott
Joining Richard Syrett in the first half, David G. Yurth, principal inventor and co-founder of Nova Institute of Technology, will give us an update on his compact, lightweight, low-cost energy efficient device that eradicates all exhaust fumes produced by internal combustion engines before they leave the tailpipe. In the second half, bee expert, George Scott, will discuss the importance of bees to the planet, why their numbers are dwindling, and what we can do to stop them from disappearing altogether.

It will be interesting to hear a mild mannered Canadian with Gorka and confronted with realties of Islam. Tho im suspect of him also. Cold War was won? Well maybe but arguable by which side. Maybe, just took another form of 'soft power' and cultural aspects because defense budgets. But socially, politically, and etc? Which 'side' is more divided now in almost all aspects?  And a major octegenarian candiate who an avowed socialist? And etc.
ps: no need to post youtubes etc. Save for politics thread. All, who care, are aware of the defectors' testimony n books amd various groups still advancing the COMINTERN etc goals.
