Even when it contradicts, the previous video you posted 10 minutes earlier. Painful to see such vapid needy point scoring, even when others are winding you up for sport. The WHO congratulated us, and the Prime Minister was proud of his actions (following science instead of fear.) Now we are shut down with millions unemployed as we all lock ourselves in our houses, and China shuts it's boarders.

To be clear- I don't blame them. It is the smart thing to do. I'm just pissed off (really pissed off) that our idiot leaders allowed flights to come direct from China to our major airports without question for so long.

In some ways the DNR makes sense (if they have done everything that they can prior to.) If you are on a ventilator, and your heart stops anyhow, you are likely already as good as a vegetable . To start your heart so that your lungs can continue to fail... At some point you have to decide that you cannot keep up "heroic" measures to try to keep one person alive.

I'm not a big fan of deciding to not treat older people. I'm not a big fan of the doctors deciding what to do. But if you are on a ventilator and your heart still stops? It is time to give the ventilator to somebody else. I say this as somebody who had to make the decision to "withhold care" for my father after an accident. It was not a ventilator- it was much better. I had to decide to stop feeding and giving fluids...

Sometimes there really is a time that you have to walk away. I had a month to get to that point. Some people are going to have that forced on them in a day or two, and I feel for them.
