So, here is a question to all of my Italian friends. In a socialized health care system, who gets the last remaining ventilator? Is it the 45 year old illegal immigrant who crossed the boarder yesterday, or the 75 year old Italian grandmother who bought and paid for it through a lifetime of tax contributions and social contributions to society?

That was actually a pilot program, if feasible it would have grown to an entire 'tard brigrade by now.  My theory was;  since all classes of citizens were now "allowed" to serve the military, LBWTFQ &c that the 'tards needed to be allowed in as well.  Leadership asked,  "But, what would we do with them?"

My reply was that Leadership was being racist by asking that question, I then outlined a plan to harness the awesome powers of Retard Strength.  Like radioactive particles, the individual retard is mostly harmless on their own, but if enough are gathered together and organized together they become a truly Green WMD capable of destruction on a scale never before seen, far worse than any Chemical, Biological, Nuclear or Radio-logical weapon in the current US inventory.

They loved it, but proceeded to get bogged down in Command Level discussions about whether this new WMD should be classified as Biological or Radio-logical.  The military, in their infinite wisdom, has surely taken my great Frankenstein idea and turned it into something truly monstrous.

What bothered me most was that they cut my 1000-frame PowerPoint presentation short before I could get to the part about utilizing "retard logic" at the Command Level.  Watching events over the past few to ten years though, I think perhaps that point was evident and they fully embraced the idea of integrating "retard logic."  I wish they had seen that whole segment on integrating "retard logic" at the Command Level, there are dangers associated with instituting "full retard ideas";  while it can indeed stymie an enemy unprepared for it, it is extremely dangerous and the "back-blast area" really needs to be clear or their can be significant home-side casualties as well as complete Annie-hilation of the enemy.

I take everything with a grain of salt. I'm completely unconcerned for myself- but I' not 100% convinced that these numbers are not skewed.

IF "they" are telling the truth- and patients over 60 no longer qualify for a ventilator in Italy (something posted here a few days back, and that I have not looked into) then you have to wonder. Who is using them? The only answer is "those under 60."

IF that is true, then the fatality rate in Italy for the older patients vs. younger has to be at least due in part to who is getting the care when they get sick. If you slap a ventilator on a 45 year old and leave the 70 year old to die, it is going to skew the number to show that it is only fatal for the older age group.

I'm not saying that I believe that this is the only reason (almost all of these diseases in recent memory have affected the elderly disproportionately- as you would expect.) Even before "rationing" of medical care was announced, the older adults expired at a much higher rate. But if those under 50 have nothing to worry about, then why this debate over who gets medical care and equipment? The younger population should have no need of it...

I saw a van for a company advertising that they were the new "supplier OF the Canadian military" a few days ago. It followed it up by saying that their equipment is "expertly engineer." And I'm supposed to trust these clowns who print full vinyl wraps with that to supply and maintain my essential equipment?

Trudeau is set to be able to end his "self isolation" this Friday. I'm taking bets if he will emerge to lead the country, or if he will continue to lead from the safety of his basement? Say what you will about Trump- he is out there acting like a leader. Ours is cowering in his secluded cottage.

My prediction is that Trudeau will say that he is "leading by example." That we should all be limiting our social interaction, and that he is acting like a leader by not leaving his house. There was a time when kings would leave their castles to travel in squalid conditions risking disease and death to lead their troops into battle. Now ours leads from the safety of his residence when he can pull himself away from the screen and take a break form playing video games.
