You are talking my language, pal.  Almost everybody I know says I'm a lunatic when I talk 'hard ball with china.'  What the fuck are any of us afraid of?  It's  not like they will go to war because we won't sell them our rice and pork.  they would loose a hundred million thru famine like you or i might lose  the small change in our pockets.  And care even less.

What are they gonna do?  Repossess my wife's hair dryer?   Fuck China.  "They hold all our paper, paladin, they could call the loans."  Fuck them, they get what we give them.   And they fucking smile for it.

"But paladin, they have nukes."  Big fucking deal.  So do we and a whole bunch of other fuckers.  But we are the only ones who have ever had the balls to use the thing.

Fuck China.

It’s not just China. It’s multiple countries and always has been.

Yeah, I just can’t keep falling for this it’s both parties shit when it’s clearly just one party now in unision with the MSM that’s trying to bring this nation down in order to have a borderless, globaist world government. I don’t ever hear real conservatives kowtowing to this anymore. I think perhaps the Republican party has been cleared of RINOs for the most part.

The parties stand for the same thing keeping themselves in power. They use different rhetoric but the ruling class is the same. Nothing majorly changes it’s just rhetoric and grandstanding.

And you’re a huge reeing drunken faggot who actually seems to think you’re bothering me. That’s funny...but you’re posts are getting boring and tedious now. I may have to put you on ignore if you don’t up your game soon.

Hugs and kisses. Try to pull your mom’s head off a cock to ask if she’s alright once in awhile, drunky.  :-*

Yay!  Coronabola!

Buddy, that is probs the bestest observation yet about this cry-sis.  On-point, effective and sure to have an affect on the inevitable outcome.

Great job, buddy!

Your dooing something!

Yay!

It’s not just China. It’s multiple countries and always has been.

They’re the last communist superpower in the world and we built them up to it. Now they’re acting like the bullies of the world and it shouldn’t be tolerated. I’m not being racist when I say that I’m really starting to despise them and their methods now because it’s based entirely on their incredibly bad behavior in the global community.

Speaking of the Democrats does this “emergency” allow them to sneak away from both Biden and Sanders and run a better candidate. Cuomo seems to be the flavor of the week for them.

That hold notes?  of course, but China is everybody's boogyman.  Why?  I dunno, maybe it's Walmarts fault, but fuck them, too.

It’s not just the notes. It was criminal of the Bushes and the Clintons to give the rest of our manufacturing base to China but they all got rich off of it so what do they care? It’s obviously created a major security problem for us now though. Bring back public hangings!

Buddy!

I can't tell you how relieved I am that you don't have me on "ignore" yet;  you've been so visibly unaffected by my constant taunting that I feared you actually had put me on you're "ignore" list.

I thought we were #BIFFs, buddy?

Buddy?

I was worried that maybe you had succumbed to the CornHolEbola!

I for one breathe easier, buddy.  You're 'tard strength is proved by how obviously unaffected you have been against my tom-foolery.

Hey, when will you be going back on the Gabcast and talking all over Lee like a drunken autistic child again? It was fun to hear him have to scold you like a little child because you just don’t have the social skills to know when to shut up and listen rather than constantly spewing verbal diarrhea.  :D

Gold Star, buddy! ;D

BTW, if I do put you on ignore just know that it’s not because you’ve bothered me but just because you’re just so incredibly lame and boring now.

Clyde Lewis has this theory that vaccinations are going to be required for more things. Like possibly a chip in your ID or something. I could also see more testing or physicals required either by insurance companies or the government at least once a year or penalties imposed. The government could pass any crazy law they wanted right now and claim its vital to people’s health, and there would be no outcry.

Really the possibilities are endless for increased government regulation. The masses are in hysteria mode, the media feeding into it. In reality prior to the 60s outbreaks of disease were common place and no one raided shelves of  every toilet paper roll they could lay eyes on. The complete over reaction and grinding halt of the world economy and general disruption of life is absurd. I understand some people are completely terrified to die of a virus that is almost exclusively fatal for  the at risk population. Every time this is brought up it’s countered by point to the few incidents of younger healthy incidents but the numbers just don’t support the few cases that have been proven of the young healthy. Plus social distancing isn’t even working just drive by a grocery store, park, beach, etc. What’s the fucking point if no one listens, as this drags in less and less people are going to abide.

That and there is a large population who feels like fuck it, living locked up in a cage isn’t a life worth living. It is not worth the price of putting the economy in Grapes if Wrath style depression over  slightly over a 100 deaths in America. Also, it’s completely unacceptable the government is telling people where to go, who to talk to, and even what views are acceptable. I feel like it’s the fucking Soviet States of America’s right now.

Also, WTF is with the great government give away of 1,200 or so a person plus 500 for every spawn produced. Like shouldn’t the money to go those were put out of work by this? Like honestly I’m going to keep getting a pay check. The money should go to those in need who were told they can’t work because the media, talking heads, politicians, etc.. has everyone in a frenzy.

I have no doubt it is going to be a power grab. I'm sure that this is a good reason for the government to start officially demanding that google hand over your location data so that they can see exactly who you were standing next to every minute of every day (just in case you are deemed contagious.)

I'm simply pointing out that the old guys with the power to make laws are not going to let people be free to go to work or congregate while it is a risk to them.

I would also say that even if it is (only) people over 60 who are at risk, that is going to drain the economy pretty fast when they all end up in the hospital. I really have not looked enough to know- but I think it produces pneumonia? If so, then I would assume that they end up more susceptible even if they survive (and it will cause additional hospitalizations in the future.) I know Trump talks about economic depression and suicide. But it also jumps when you lose a parent or loved one.*

*Though I do know some people with pretty shitty parents who (rightfully) might almost celebrate a death in the family...

I'm still cowering in fear in my basement dressed up in my biohazard suit. I'll be damned if this plague is going to claim my life. The reporters told me to be afraid- and I know better than to question my media overlords.

Here is a fucked up, and strangely suspicious link. It would appear that a publicly funded hospital (they are all funded by the tax payer) is asking for "donations" to buy ventilators. It would appear that in the midst of a massive health scare, the provincial government will end up throwing billions at the problem, but is too cheap to purchase 4 new machines for $300,000 and they are asking for donations?

Oh, and apparently, there are lots in the supply chain and it won't be a problem to get them. Perhaps somebody should call Spain or Italy and let them know that they are just sitting on the shelves waiting to be purchased.

The whole thing reeks of a scam by the hospital administrator driven by greed and fear.

That is one strange dude.  I remember reading something a long time ago about him extolling the virtues of "coffee enemas"?  Maybe he will discover that is effective against the virus.

ediot: now that I think of it, I believe it was Rush Limbaugh talking about the crown prince and "coffee enemas."   Hope Rush doesn't catch it, with the cancer it'd be the end for sure for him...

Sense the government is so afraid of things, instead of giving everyone money just give them a bio hazard suit instead.

I am screwed.

While finishing my regular "morning constitutional" I used up the last half-roll of toilet paper from the pallet of TP I bought last week.  And, while trying to "clear the chamber" a clog seems to have developed that the plunger will not clear, I think the line might be fouled.  So hopefully, after I get past the 14 military checkpoints between myself and CostCo, get through the 100+ person line to share the store with 9 other lucky shoppers there is still a pallet of TP left, and hopefully a sewer snake.  This clog seems like it is a deep one...

Hmm, maybe I need another 2000lbs of dry oatmeal too.  I seem to be about 3/4 of the way through the 1000lbs I got last Tuesday, as well...

I am getting a bit low on the "emergency stores" budget, did I see someone mention that I can expect a $12,000 check soon?  That would really help get my "emergency stores" to a level that I am comfortable with, maybe I will renew my Netflix account too.  Have to have something to watch while I digest my mac&cheez and oats, wonder if there is any Gas-X left in the pharmacy section at CostCo?

If I leave now (9:30am local) I should be back from my "emergency supply" run by 7pm at the earliest.

Fruitcakes, of course, do not need to be frozen at all as they are their own storage vessels, handily preserving precious energy-containing fruits and nuts in a delicious alcoholic stupor as your ancestors knew.  Simply unwrap every few weeks and inspect for any fine powdery mold forming on the surface.  Wipe that mold off with a cloth and blast that spot with some 151; you are good for years.

My mother sent me a fruitcake when I was in Afghanistan through the mail around Christmas.  I believe before shipping it she "soaked" it down really good with some bourbon, if memory serves I requested that.  There were very few folks that were interested, "ewww."  But, the few that were "in the know" really enjoyed it.  I did not widely advertise that it was soaked in alchohol for "preservative" purposes.

As for freezing baked goods, I have a recipe around somewhere for Belgian Waffles.  One of my former tenant/room-mates left me a Belgian Waffle iron that sat in a drawer unused for at least a decade before I re-discovered it.  I went and bought a box of the mix, and gave it a try;  decided that I paid WAY too much for a box of flour and baking powder that I had to add the eggs and butter to and decided to find a decent recipe to whip up a 1 egg batch worth.

One egg makes a fuck-ton of waffles, so instead of throwing the unused batter out, I used it all up making 8-12 extra ones.  Slightly under-cooked, not yet golden: allowed them to cool at room temp a little bit, then put them in the freezer on the racks for about 24hrs to freeze solid, then packaged in Ziplocs for long-term (today, I would see how they vac-seal, or not those bags aren't free, dammit).

Worked just like a high-class Eggo waffle, pop in the toaster frozen;  heat and brown.  Boom, Belgian Waffles for breakfast.  I think I made some blueberry syrup out of a bunch of slightly freezer-burnt blueberries a friend had picked that sat unused in the freezer.  Probably still have the squeeze bottle of that syrup in the fridges somewhere, it lasts forever under refrigeration if you do it correctly.

Mmm, I believe I have a single egg left from the 1 gross carton that I bought last week, perhaps I should whip up a batch of fake-Eggo Belgian Waffles to replace the space emptied after I cooked one of the 15lb Standing rib-roasts last night, dinner was delicious last night!  Hmm...

Pate honey for the love of all that is holy and delicious please make a Belgian waffle as made in Belgium sometime.  The dry, fluffy ones known here by that name are a preposterous fraud.  You can tell an authentic recipe by its comparatively rich batter and the inclusion of pearl sugar which, in the iron, settles out of the batter onto the iron and produces a crackly burnt-sugar caramelly crust.  Making them is a smoky, messy proposition as butter goes everywhere, too.

I have not experimented with other coarse-grained sugars as pearl sugar is readily available here but I don't see why something like Sugar-In-The-Raw would not produce a similar effect.  As to their keeping quality I cannot say, for they vanish as quick as I can turn them out.
