1.'Obamacare' giving more than 20 million Americans health insurance who did not have it previously.
2.7 years of sustained economic growth, albeit generally slow
3.Low unemployment by historical standards
4.Exponentially declining costs of renewable energy (though not yet ready to be used by vehicles) and it's debatable how much politicians had to do with this.
5.Low inflation

$10 trillion additional debt. You could have bought everyone insurance for far less money than Obamacare cost. Some people have insurance that didn't before. Some people that had it before don't have it anymore. 93 million out of the workforce. Inflation is low because demand is low and because oil prices are low (in spite of Obama).

Except when it turns out to be bubble and crashes.

And the Democrats manipulated the market to force out all but the richest players and turn it into an even more rigged game. When people start talking about how great the economy and market is doing, I can immediately tell two things. One they have no idea what they're talking about and two they are unwealthy plebs.

Yeah we would have been much better off with McCain or Romney. Further into the ditch.

The problem is Trump wasn't a politician at the time, Clinton was. She voted for the war. Holding Trump to account for the Iraq war is irelevant.

If he wasn't claiming, against the only available evidence, that he was against the war (before it started), it wouldn't be a problem for him. But he insists on repeating the claim. So, obviously, he'll get called on it. Sean Hannity's testimony won't help when there's a taped interview.

Hillary's support is what he should have focused on, if he were smart. But he made the claim he did.

0% interest loans, adjustable rates, and people with horrible credit had no business receiving home loans. Affirmative action--in action.

Yeah, exactly. How anyone thinks the economy is fine is probably in some cush desk college job or on welfare. The economy day to day fucking sucks, and has sucked since 2008. You can clearly see it in the metrics the government doesn't want you to know about, such as the Fed M2 Velocity of Money.

If people really knew and understood what that metric meant, they'd shit themselves.

You're an idiot. The SEC manipulated the market to force out the non-rich players. The pattern day trader rule came into effect in 2001, when Bush was President.

Dude seriously, one of the biggest things that flipped me from being a liberal was money. It actually gets me kind of crazy when liberals talk about money or the market or the economy. I can listen to their woo babble on race relations, or whatever buzzword is in their mind today or whatever else subjective fantasy they want to blame their failings in life on today. But it gets me really kind of crazy when they people start talking about the economy from headlines they read on social media while having no clue about anything beyond what Occupy Democrats told them. Not only is insulting to the intelligence but it profoundly depresses me that people are too stupid to understand how arguably the most important aspect of their life works.

Different ditch. I don't give just Obama the blame. Bush doubled the debt and Obama doubled it again. They didn't do it alone. Over the last 16 years both parties had control of Congress and the budget. How many years did Obama go without even submitting a budget?  I know it was at least 6. That is why I don't want an establishment candidate. We need to destroy the stranglehold of the establishment on both sides.

If you don't see that Clinton just means more of the same, there is nothing you will believe.

Yeah, I agree. It's true. They have absolutely no idea what they're talking about. And they are about to get waylaid as technological unemployment creates a situation where job growth is permanently outstripped by job losses to automation. Liberals are wholly unprepared for how to deal with this. It astonishes me that they're still worried about using race baiting to get elected. Good way to get guillotined, historically speaking.

Since you're such an expert on economics you might want to inform gravity sucks why the '93 million jobless Americans' claim is totally dishonest.

Not one coughing fit. Did not face plant. No weird objects discharged from her person.

Good night for Hills.

I can't wait to hear 'Dr' John Curtis, who I assume will  be on tonight, spinning on how Trump dominated the debate.  I'd like it to go like this, but I don't think it will:

"Trump was on point all night, especially with his constant snorting.  Everybody knows the most successful Presidents were cocaine addicts."

You're right. It is up to 94.7 million

All anyone has to do is walk into a grocery store, look at rents, or check out the prices of utilities and other necessities and they would know better. Oh, gas went down. Great. In the meantime, all delivery charges, including the postal service, just keeps going up. Most people know better just by living everyday life.

1.Many more people have insurance now than before.

2.Odd, when Reagan was President in the 1980s Republicans said that 'budgets are the responsibility of Congress, the large deficits are the fault of the Democrats.'
When Clinton was President in the 1990s Republicans said that 'budgets are the responsibility of Congress, the surpluses are the result of the work of the Republican Congress.

Strange how the Republican Congress isn't responsible this time.
