Not even close to what he said. And he wasn't a politician. Find the quote for yourself. I'm not doing a Canadian's homework.

He still says he 'isn't a politician.'  By your 'logic' why should we take anything he says seriously now either?

Those were online non-scientific polls.

As is election day. The most energized base is going to have the highest turnout.

And what about the fifteen or so polls that I just posted that showed he won?

Oh, they aren't 'real' polls.  Just ask 'the Donald Noory.'

That would be a really dumb direction for the left and the MSM to take after this debate to have the focus be on Trump supposedly being on cocaine. Not only is it stupid but it's a poor imitation of the Alt-Right which is what they've been telling us is evil for the last two months.

I don't see anyone focusing on anything that was said. It's just what a dick this moderator was, Trump being on the defense through the end and Trump beating up on her through the first 30.

The reaction from the HillShills on here is indicative of what I'm seeing online. These people are desperate for a win and started off screaming about victory a hour ago but since the MSM isn't reflecting this view they're getting into this deepening obsessive psychosis like what we're seeing here on the board.

It's real interesting the MSM isn't banging the gong for Hillary yet from what I'm reading. I'm assuming CNN is losing their shit but I don't consider them MSM anymore.

It's the polls lately, they're starting to lose their shit as electoral corridors are opening up for Trump. They always do this when that happens. Hell, this could be another Bush/Gore lawsuit election for all we know.

You shouldn't. You should hold Trudeau accountable and ask him why he doubled your deficit in his first year.

Online polls are pretty meaningless this close to the debate. Fox will show a Trump win, CNN a Clinton win, etc.

Sports books, however, have spoken, and the smart money is going to Clinton.

Yes, as I said! I guess the posting makes more money than the reading. Who doesn't know this. (sigh) Economists though are often hilarious, can't even predict better one precise objects that some cute weather-gal or some chimp throwing darts.  (Not that I am saying it is not a worthy study.)

Television economists aren't taken seriously by anybody else in economics.

Anything with the definition of Schumpeter's term that you disagree with?  He was just coining a term for something already in existence, but I think it's been shown to be very important in changing economics and changing society many times.

The first thirty minutes are the most important... viewership drops off fast after that...

I'm honestly just sick of it at this point. Put either one in at this point. If the evil incompetent woman is in, fine I'll adapt. If the angry old man is in, fine I'll adapt.

It's really spooky how the MSM doesn't have a narrative yet.

i was just over at democraticunderground.com and half of the threads are about how Trump is on cocaine. He wasn't even sniffing he was just breathing in and the mic was picking up on it really well like when you can hear someone breathing on the phone. They are trying to get him drug tested LMAO

Oh, they don't count because they don't support his twisted view of the world.  ::)

1.He said more than that.
2.If Hillary Clinton blasted the war in her Senate speech for a full hour before voting for it, all anybody would rightly remember was that she voted for it.  Same deal for Trump, he said he supported it, there is no recording of him opposing it.

In another less well known interview he said "maybe this isn't the right time for the war."  At the start of this campaign, I would have given him a pass, but it's clear now he uses weasel words like 'maybe' a lot and he tries to take all sides of nearly every issue.

There is not a single statement where he comes out actually gives a declarative statement opposing the war.

His closest statement on the war is in support of it.

The problem is Trump wasn't a politician at the time, Clinton was. She voted for the war. Holding Trump to account for the Iraq war is irelevant.

You can 'bet' that I  can suck a golf ball through a garden hose, but we all 'know' that your mom can suck off the entire Seattle Seahawks team in 30 minutes or less.  Shit, that's better than any Pizza delivery service will claim anymore.

Except he used, and still tries to use it, as a reason why people should vote for him.

This is going to backfire on them so hard. They need to be focusing on spreading Hillary getting Donald on the defensive for the last part. This narrative of him being coked out is just smug liberal bullshit that will come and go by this time next week. Meanwhile he will have taken most of the MSM polls and the Trump Train will be building on this debate.

Very true, and Trump did fine for the first 20 minutes or so.

If you don't understand the difference between a scientific poll, even one with the flawed methodology of an 'insta-poll' and the online polls that were being pointed to, that's not evidence about me of anything.

There is no narrative to support. Clinton's platform (at this point) is beating Trump. That's it. She will get a lot votes but I think he wins in the end.

I just like it that someone is calling out politicians, especially Democratic ones, for never solving the problems they bitch about despite being in power for the better part of a decade. Hope and change. Well, we certainly got change because shit didn't used to be this racist and bad. The biggest sociopolitical travesty I've seen in my life is the degradation of race relations that has occurred under Obama. And the sad thing was that it is probably on purpose and for profit or political gain.

I agree but he didn't vote for it.
