No, I still have one of the Gen 2 with the 30 pin connector. Almost time for a new one. I've replaced the screen on this one twice. Next time I am just going to upgrade if I have the money.

Yeah, new they're bloody expensive! Especially the new Pros.  :

The newer ones allow for touch sensitive styli to be used and I'd like to try some of the drawing programs that allow for that with one.

Switched from iPad 2 to the iPad mini 2 a couple of years back.
Busted the iPad 2 screen. Have a new one, but still peeling out shards of glass from the chassis.

I used a stylus somewhat like this for drawing with spring on the end holding a plastic disc. Worked well. Felt like nicer Wacom products.
