And that's why it would've been useless to search for casings on the BLM land west of the Bells's.  Say one was found; you can find casings all over the place, they're insignificant.

Yes, because bullet casings are always just found on the top of a roof overlooking the scene of an assassination.  The damn deer hunters in Texas will use anything for a deer stand.

Go mix up some more apples and oranges and mix it with your kool aid.

It's good stuff Maynard.

Hard to believe that folks still buy into some elaborate scheme involving thousands of people throughout numerous government and/0r international agencies/organizations to murder Kennedy. Folks, it was Oswald. And Oswald ALONE.

If you don`t believe it was the lone nut Oswald, find some solid evidence to the contrary. ANY evidence.
It was Oswald.  Alone.  Trying to kill Connally.  What's the evidence he had anything against Kennedy?  But we know he hated Connally!

I say you're not a time traveller, and that's good enough for most people. It might not be a supernatural skill, it's just non-existent, so I guess you've got me there. But I think we can all agree that you are desperate for attention and easy to please if you are in raptures about a show you haven't heard yet.

I should have said 'clairaudient', of course, but that's what happens when you read something from a witless wonder - the mind tends to mush a bit.  :)

I am a time traveler. Check this post tomorrow, it will be true.

The guest will make some pretty far fetched statements which are not backed up by science. Heather will ask some tough questions, and people will say that she is angry and sick of doing the show, and is therefore mean. From time to time, she will give the guest "a pass" and people will complain that she is too soft. She will cough on the air and people will say that someone with more experience wouldn't have done that. There will be questions about when Art will be back, even though he is a quitter who everyone hates. Throw in some gender bashing and some inappropriate remarks since she is a female, and that is tonight's show.

That proves I am a time traveler. (Not the $4.99 Time Traveler)

He could have killed Connally any day of any given week in Austin. Connally didn't have a secret service detail.  Lot less chance of being caught if he just did it in Austin.

That's my point: They're found everywhere you look.  You search other rooftops in the same city, you'd find them there too.

But Oswald had just gotten a job that put him in that bldg., & then the motorcade route was published.  Why travel with a rifle when you have no car?

If I gave the numbers out here in a public forum, everyone would buy those numbers making the pot go down to nothing.

Play the lottery, but you won't win the jackpot. I also know this from my time travels.

Plus MV would just take down my post and use the numbers for his personal gain. He already has enough money from when he sold the website last year.

So are you now saying that you don't believe this idea of the Secret Service shooting Kennedy along with Oswald after all, and that you think Oswald fired all the shots? If so, that's not a conspiracy theory per se, just another take on Oswald's motive to do the shooting. Unless you still think there was a conspiracy and/or some kind of organized coverup.

You know, when it was just $999,999,999.00, I wasn't interested. But that extra dollar and digit make all the difference. I'm all in, now. All in. For at least one ticket.

Connally was certainly in Dallas often enough to be a fairly easy and soft target. Waiting until he was in the President's car in a parade-like motorcade sounds pretty far out there.  Oswald took a Dallas bus to take a shot at Edwin Walker six months earlier.  Even after JFK, governors had pretty lax security.  I looked behind me in the check-in line at a Manhatten hotel once in the 80s and it was John Spellman, the Governor of Washington, all by himself.

Now this discussion has devolved into an effort to get inside Oswald's head. In the end, does it really matter who he was aiming at and why? It's almost an academic point without an accompanying conspiracy theory. Oswald was the ultimate loser, doing the kind of thing that those guys do. Doesn't that cover it?

Don't some theorists believe the Plieideans were inside Oswald's head.

If they can make a decent case, I'd listen to that discussion. It still sounds like some kind of conspiracy theory, but conspiracies involving aliens can be irresistible. Less than two weeks to X-Files!

The "Magic Bullet" stuff was debunked several years ago with real time 3D analysis by a professional technical animation company used by Ford and GM that used the accurate relative positions of JFK and Connally in the limo instead of the old 2D diagrams from bad data that made it look implausible.  The Myers 3D recreation has been attacked by conspiracy nuts using hand sketches and  nondimensional images.

No, not all the shots.  Not the one that blew up JFK's head.  (Well, blew up his head more, I mean...he had a swell head for years before that.)  That one was from a Secret Servant, and it too was accidental.
QuoteIf so, that's not a conspiracy theory per se, just another take on Oswald's motive to do the shooting. Unless you still think there was a conspiracy and/or some kind of organized coverup.
Of course, there was a coverup of the Secret Servant's shot!

A great quote from that clip:

“I know that millions and millions of people in this country believe there was a conspiracy. People want to believe that the world is not that random.  That things are not that chaotic. That something larger, bigger, was at stake here.  Because I think it’s very difficult for them to accept the idea that someone as inconsequential as Oswald could have killed someone as consequential as Kennedy.”
- Robert Dallek, author “An Unfinished Life”

I see that principle at work everywhere:  The Oklahoma City federal building bombing, the 9/11 attacks, the Sandy Hook Massacre.  Even here in the microcosm, with all of the people who refuse to believe that Art's stalker forced him off the air.

But I think I've grown even more cynical than Mr. Dallek, because all of those conspiracy theories appear to be a subset of an even broader group of conspiracy theories which also includes things like the Moon Landing conspiracy and the Flat Earth conspiracy:  people don't just want to find a larger explanation for the ugly stupid reality that one worthless schmuck with a gun can fuck up everything - they're also driven by the arrogant need to feel superior, to be smarter than everyone else who is "duped" by the factual evidence.  Ultimately, it's that egoistical compulsion that enslaves people's minds even regarding the central questions of our existence, and seduces them to embrace things like Creationism and other forms of radical fundamentalism.

So when you bite right down to the marrow, the reason the world is such a brutal, senseless, confused catastrophe, is that even stupid people are driven by the eclipsing conceit to feel that they're smarter than everyone else, even when every fact testifies against them.

Heck, I debunked it by having a friend sitting on a coach with its, & his, back to me turn around to look at me.  He pivoted on his near hip, rather than, as was apparently assumed by Specter's subcommittee, planting his far foot & pivoting on the far hip.

Well said.  Plus the stupid are increasingly exploited by low lifes who push their false flag fantasies for a dirty buck.

Are you confusing "magic bullet" with "single bullet"?  The former is the conspiracists' term for of the contorted path based on subjective conclusions and conjecture, the latter the analytically validated fact of a straight path by one bullet through Kennedy into Connally based on empirical data.
