I’m sorry about your dad. :(

Thanks. We knew it was coming for some time. He suffered the last few years. I'm just glad he's not in pain any more.

Something was said in an earlier post that got me to thinking... The post was about Heather's over the top reaction, blah, blah, blah...

I remember, in my circle of friends, that a guy reacted similarly with the death of John Lennon. It was grandiose expressions, constant "what if" statements and mourning publicly. In fact, he  (the last drummer I've ever worked with on stage, only giving up on him recently) was even photographed in the newspaper with all his Beatle toys around him crying at a vigil.

Same thing, obsessed fan syndrome.

Difference is, this time, Heather was living within firecracker range

I walk away from this thread for a few hours and it takes the darkest turn imaginable.

God damn.

You mean because you came back?

Art picked a bad time to die.

ABBA is making new music.

https://www.cnn.com/2018/04/27/entertainment/abba-new-music/index.html

I was recently listening to a replay with Art where he announced that ABBA refused a billion dollars to get back together. I guess they finally need that money now.

It’s getting expensive to live in Sweden.  Have a lot of new mouths to feed via gov handouts

It's also getting very expensive to buy fencing materials and a hire 24-hour armed guards to protect you from your new neighbors, Mr. Jihadii & Mr. Islamist.

Freda lives on an island off the coast of Sweden, and all of them will have royalties going into their respective estates long after they're dead. I doubt they need the money. They refused the billion because they simply had had enough of the previous stress (Two divorces between the four of them), combined with the constant touring, TV shows and the business side of it. Fun fact, Swedish tax laws at the time of their founding meant they couldn't write off clothing as a tax break unless they could demonstrably prove it was purely for their job.. This inspired their stage costumes as they said no-one would wear that stuff in everyday life unless on stage. They won their argument.

Don't forget, Agnetha hated to fly and was involved in a very serious tour bus accident...  She absolutely hated touring.  Plus, if you think about it, her ex-husband was writing lyrics for her that were plain nasty; definitely written with a message to her.  Of course she didn't know English very well and I think he got away with a lot.

Frida's grandson is an asshole. He was online trying to sell a bunch of her stuff because he didn't care about Abba, of which paid for his many tattoos...

I didn't know about that; But the lyric thing yes. And the song "Winner takes it all" was brutal. I watched a documentary in the UK about their history and Pete Waterman said he can't listen to that song because it's too raw. He even choked up trying to outline the premise of it.

meanwhile in Pahrump...

Heather slaves away on Art's tombstone, silently suffering, as she's the only one that's truly effected by Art's passing.

why can't you vultures understand her pain? you monsters!

She's probably working on some for Halloween while she's at it.
