meanwhile in Pahrump...

Heather slaves away on Art's tombstone, silently suffering, as she's the only one that's truly effected by Art's passing.

why can't you vultures understand her pain? you monsters!
At least we're in good company.

She's on a vision quest in the desert outside Pahrump. She was last seen walking in the direction of Death Valley.

A quest to find the perfect rock to sculpt into a headstone.

'Don't confuse those unruly warthogs at BG with me, the saintly chefist'.

Chefist is like a tarantula trying to entice a tasty morsel into his web

Arachnid venom acts as a tranquilizer, blood thinner and anticoagulant. Tastier and easier to consume prey.

well folks, it's friday. let's keep the solid sewergab content flowing. heh, heh.

A friend thinks it was Heather who died, and that Art stirred up the turmoil to keep from having to do the show. Whitley, Dannion and Karen are going along with Art as they always do.

Heather redacted herself off this gay earth?

It's gotten so weird that any of these theories has a ring of truth. The one-photo-of-Heather thing is perfect for conspiracy theories.

You could do the same with cément. Just use the carboard as a form and pour in your cément mix. Write the épitaphe before it hardens. I did it for my pet cemetary.

Art confirmed for snuffing Heather out with her own cat (who has also recently died) in a 99° Masonic sex ritual sacrifice.

So who's doing her headstone?

I hope your call didn't close down the station for good. It might've been the last chance for us to catch Heather on air live.

Yeah, don't make us call you Seanmunda!

So therefore no kids watched it?  ::)

It takes time to be creative and crafty.  That is why she must take off and work on the tombstone.

I posted a toast to you guys, but for whatever reason, it didn't go through.. either time that I posted it.  It was a snapshot of the beer I was drinking for lunch, and a toast to you.  Maybe MV was jealous he wasn't drinking, too?  :o

Not to be a rumormonger, but...

So, over this said beer, I had several thoughts about whether or not Art would do himself in, and also why Heather said that she was planning to do a show on Tuesday (after the death), but that due to a situation with family (I think she actually meant HIS family), she was not able to do so. She indicated that Keith knew what she was referring to.

So..   Art's wife and kids were set up with $$. Even if he didn't have life insurance, or even if that life insurance policy had some clause stipulating that the family would get jack if he killed himself, they would still likely have a LOT to be comfortable. On top of that, Airyn could sell the house, the land, the tower, etc..

We are told that Art was found dead in bed (supposedly) on Friday the 13th. Art's sense of humor? Or God's sick joke? LOL (or a funny one. Take your pick).  Whitley says he's wondering about the toxicology reports.  Obviously an autopsy was done. However, we know he was in bad shape, and anyone who saw him recently said the same thing- he looked terrible.   Why have an autopsy? Okay, so even if he wasn't lingering in the final stages for days, this does happen. People's hearts give out. Why wouldn't they automatically assume it was just the COPD? Unless something at the scene suggested foul play, or that maybe he took pills, or Airyn felt that something was not quite right?  Or maybe because he's a celeb in that area, they felt better safe than sorry. Or maybe she just felt like she had to know. Certainly understandable.

There are scenarios where someone dies, and the family requests an autopsy. If there is even the faintest whiff of doubt, maybe it's a case of say where the bank puts a hold on someone's account- they put a lock (proverbial or otherwise) on his radio equipment.  Because it's still his.  GravitySucks- if I understood you right, Heather's house is/was Art's studio. Well, that doesn't necessarily mean he sold her his studio equipment. Maybe, since it seemed she paid well over what the place was worth, from the records.. but if Airyn perhaps questioned that sale (as it happened not quite a month before his death), she could have asked Heather NOT to touch his stuff until they got back the toxicology reports.   Maybe this is why her hand was forced, and she couldn't get back on.

We know Heather's been living there on the compound for a couple of years, but only JUST bought this house. We also know from her posts online (or maybe she said this on her show?) that her cat was really sick (and now dead), and she could not afford vet bills. Yet she just bought his house. Where did she get the money?  Do you think it at all possible that Art gave her money so that she could buy his studio, knowing that she would presumably keep on doing MITD? Knowing his time was limited? Why now?   Maybe Airyn didn't know about it.. or maybe she did, but didn't care for it. Maybe she's contesting the "sale" of the house?  After all, why wasn't Heather at the funeral? Is it really because she couldn't control her tears, and didn't want to upset the family? That sounds completely bogus, as does much of the rest of what she's been saying.

Also, with regard to Art supposedly leaving instructions for how long they should wait to report his death.. or the family being pissed that the sheriff didn't wait longer than they did..
When my grandpa died, he was married to a woman well beyond half his age.  She took off one day, and he was in really ill health.  We never heard from her again, and I don't know that he ever filed for divorce. He was certainly abandoned, in any event.  We were concerned that when she heard about his death, she would show up out of nowhere and start demanding his stuff, his money, whatever. MAYBE Art was concerned that his ex wives or his estranged kids would try to screw Airyn, Asia and Alex out of whatever he wanted to leave them? Waiting til Monday isn't a long amount of time at all, but at least certain paperwork could be file by that point.  I dunno.  I really can't think of why else it would be so important to hold off that long.
