I wasn't familiar w that, so I just glanced at the Wikipedia entry on it, and, well, yeah.  But Orphan Black appears to be more like The Phantom, while Lost is more like a zombi story -- the way real zombies are supposedly produced, by drugging someone & convincing them they've died & are now at your service.  See my Web pages for a fuller, albeit still not complete, explanation, organized chronologically as I figured it out, playing along w my friend who created the puzzle by creating the show.
