The only thing that can be proven is; more suicides are with guns, approx 66% - (which is about 34 / day), than death by people shooting people, approx 33% - (which is about 17 / day)...

As for traffic accidents being good for the medical profession, you really are talking crap. Have you been in a casualty department when an RTA has been brought in? I have. Believe me the docs and nurses and paramedics weren't singing for joy on that occasion.

I think if robbers knew that all gas station owners were armed, they probably would not choose gas stations as their robbery target.  If they did come into the station to rob it, and the station owner showed a gun, I don't think the gas station owner would necessarily have to pull the trigger to scare the robber away and save lives.


The gas station owner might make a mistake and miss his target, and hurt an innocent person, as I admitted above, but he would not be intending to aim at any innocent people, as an armed robber might. A drone will take out many, and worries me much more than any gun.

Well YP, I worked in a gas station, and a robber attempted to rob me. I got beaten up, got knocked out. The robber got 7 years.  I came to for a moment to see the robber standing over me, butcher blade in hand over my heart.  If I had not passed out again at the site of the blade, I suppose I might not be here typing at ya. In those long twenty minutes, I wish I had possessed a gun, even though I am anti gun.  I am talking to you from my own personal experience.  I had no intention of spending the afternoon discussing it though, to be honest.
