Glad you found our thread LaughingGator.  I was a member of JohnB's forum, as was Weedeater, Bomar, OriginalLarry, Misty and Elly.  I did hear Wells on EODR.  I think all of us here have pretty early on.  I have heard Wells comments on "bellgabbers" and know what he thinks of us.  I still listen to him because of the people here on this thread that I have known, and would miss, but I have lost my good feelings about him.  I think it's very childish, and more than unprofessional to to call your critics, and those who disagree with you "trolls".  There was one woman, I repeat ONE woman who was declaring to be dead or some such thing, perhaps someone with a mental illness.  You would think a professional with a subscription service would have the sense to report their concerns and the IP of said individual to the mental health authorities, and ban their IP from membership, but to call someone with a possible mental illness a troll, is more than unkind from a person promoting themselves as a Christian.  The more I hear Wells, the less I like him, and I imagine he would say the same of me as time goes on.  It does make me sad.  I started out with very high enthusiasm and hope for Wells show when it was new.

I'd be able to feel like that if he wasn't charging a subscription.  I wish I still DID feel like that.  Even Clyde doesn't charge a subscription. All his podcasts in their entirety are free to listen to on soundcloud, years and years back.

I wish I could say there were a few more shows that I have enjoyed.  There have been a few, and I say so on the rare occasion that happens.

It's this thread, and the people in it that have kept me subscribing so far, but even that is wearing thin for me.

Even if I don't keep my subscription going next month, I'll still be around this thread to read the comments.

I'm listening to Pastor Caspar McCloud right now on EP 615, and I AM enjoying listening to him.  He's different.
Wells also chose good articles to read during his news segment today IMO.

I understand Brig, $60 is a lot of money for a subscription that you rarely use.
If you do unsubscribe and see a show you want to hear, just say so and I (or someone else on here I'm sure) will PM it to you.

I appreciate that LG   I am doing the $10 a month thing now, which I appreciate Wells adding that option for people on a limited income.  I have quite a few broadcasters I like to send a little support to, so none of them can be the choice of the month, every month.  Not even Wells.  The others have a donate button, so that works well for me. I can just send who I pick each month, whatever amount I am able to that month.  I can understand him feeling that collecting a subscription, leaves him free to not worry about control by advertisers.  So, I just have to go to paypal and unsubscribe from time to time.  No biggie.  Then I go through the archive and catch the ones I missed that sound interesting.

I checked out his website, and was delighted to find this:

I have done a lot of research into the Barry Seal case, as it hit close to home, I know of a lot of the players, and I remember when Judge Polozola
a federal judge sentenced Seal to a halfway house, thereby ensuring his demise.
This has to do with the whole "Iran-Contra" case, Mena, Arkansas, and the continuing antics of the Bush/Clinton crime family.
I hope anyone interested will give it a listen. It's really good.
