No-one impersonated you ... it was my assumption your folks were of the Hippy era ... I remember from way back  [long before Bella-Haven], you mentioning your folks enjoying the paranormal and I remember your mom posting a bit here and there  ... when someone  mentions astrology, I tune in.  My whole point, initially was that I was somewhat hesitant to mention out-loud that i related to Nancy and did her chart and was going to do some comparisons ... 

I appreciate your honesty regarding all this ... i appreciate the folks who have apologized for derailing this thread with the Falkie stuff ... it just kicked my butt to see how sad Nancy was because of what happened to the Bella-Haven show and then her thread here.  I suppose my strong-headed Aries self came barreling through wanting to save her from any more hurt ... I am grateful for all the honesty that has come forward today --I feel it definitely is a beginning of healing  .... hopefully, Nancy and everyone else involved in this can feel the incredible love and respect that is being shown.

I'm sorry, but I just started reading this thread the last couple of days, and have not listened to the show because of my work schedule.  Am I wrong, here but do you have to be "politically correct" to post in this thread, if so, look where you are at.  This is Bellgab. We are vaguely loveable and rough around the edges. 

Personally, I am just not into strict behavioral compliance in society or in a thread.  Let me give an example at an office.  There is a group of office workers and a couple of new employees are hired.  They are not a certain age, but they wear creative clothing, not the usual strict office attire.  The usual office behavior is to get into a group and talk about those folks and admonish them socially.  I hope this is not what is happening here. 

In this thread, Falkie and his following ventured into the thread.  Gasp!  Shazam!  How dare they!  Get over it already.  Folks on this forum must be free to enter into any thread and comment, if they are respectful.    Am I politically correct at all times, NO!  I show respect, but I do believe in the freedom to be.

I just have an aversion of folks hurting others or being hurt; I guess I have a habit of trying to rescue a situation  ... I see life and people as a lesson in personal growth.  We cannot change other people, we can only change how we react to them.  We can only change ourselves.  Everything that makes me uncomfortable, also makes me analyse my perceptions and interpretations. That's what I LIKE about bellgab. Of course, not every body is ready for that.  I am at the point now, where I think "having hurt feelings" is a choice.  I think unfortunately, that women make this choice far more often than men, and I think it's holding them back.  I remind myself repeatedly of people I made judgements about, who later turned out to be wonderful friends in many ways, once I got past a certain judgement.  If I were a writer, I could probably write an entire book on this subject, but I won't, and I shall spare you all and stop now. I don't expect many to agree, but some will.  I'm just *splainin*

I'm a real skeptic regarding many paranormal subjects. But none more than astrology. But, I am seeing statements that open other perspectives. I respect a few here that claim not only a belief but what seems to be a preference. It isn't that big of a place, would be nice if there were a way to get along.

Vary eloquent post. But you may be addressing the wrong folks. We here, as in the other threads are far from PC. Sometimes we all border on the pornographic, gross or downright nasty and  self serving crap that makes your mind cringe. But malicious posts intended to cause hurt is not only childish but I though was beyond most of us. This is not aimed at you by any means so please don't take it that way,  but aimed at the so-called adults that should have known better. Everyone gets flamed here at one time or other. In this case it went beyond flame or fun. Same with the crap in the chat room. I am an old retired soldier and as far from PC as you can get. And even with all my many faults, and my sometimes brash mouth (keyboard) I do not want to intentionally hurt some one the way they were. But what happened here may have at least contributed to the loss of a good show and maybe even a fellow bellgabber. I am sorry to see the show go. I am sorry if anyone on this forum or any other forum hurt Nancy, and I hope she stays. I honestly believe that the number of people who post on bellgab with the intention of hurting, are very few, if any.  In most cases, it's just that not everybody is familiar with their sense of humor. IMO.  That might be wrong, but that's how I see it.  Bellgab is more about training our own interpretation of others, rather than judging them ......again, IMO.

I think you pretty much nailed what is going on around here. Falkie and his following just happened along when Nancy was making a decision to let go of Bella-Haven. Some of the Bella-Haven 'insiders'
(hell the audience was so small we're all insiders) did a little connecting the dot and along with chat room being hacked, could assume it had pushed Nancy over the edge causing her to let go of Bella-Haven. I expect lots of things factored into her decision, and she is a smart and would know that the
She had a surport network that could and would deal with the goofs.

As for PC, not much of that happening here... Most of us are from a respectfull older and kinder generations that abhors both political correctness and unnecessary rudeness.
