No, I'm here also.  Since I have to work 12 hour shifts for awhile ... on my days off (M-TH this week), I lay around a little later ... before I respond here.  So, I'm having my first cup of coffee right now,
I listened to MITD already and enjoyed Art and Seth ... AND  (I even did my exercise on nu-step while listening!!!!)  -- its a good morning!

Sorry I missed you this morning centaurie, I stayed up listening to MITD AND Hoagie last night, and I was so so late waking up this morning.  I hope to see you around today, but if not, hope to see you in the morning for serenitys coffee, I had to make my own coffee when I got home    I like it but it just doesn't have the surprise factor of serenitys coffee

Enjoyed your video. I really need some good coffee, but it should be here by the weekend. and staying up for Haogie means you'll be going to sleep when I'm getting up, at least tomorrow. Was it worth it, most people seem to be enjoying? You did have some background noise, though, either that or I'm picking up stray transmissions. Yes, that does happen from time to time on Bluetooth. I wonder if they pick up my audio books?

I've been avoiding all this since things got bad but I would like to express some thoughts.

The last week of Bella got strange but it really sucks not having BH late at night to enjoy. I genuinely miss Nancy's and Rose's voice this evening. And I want to take a sharp pencil to my eardrums after more than a few minutes of RCH.

Things got negative and out of control at the end but I think you had a very good thing going Nancy. I hope you take some time to recharge your batteries and reignite your flair to do this. You clearly have a talent and passion for broadcasting. Don't let some losers with no life dictate what you do with your passions and life. You had some shows that were rough but you also had some shows that were spectacular. It takes people years to refine their talent and find formats that work for them. I think you may have wanted too much out of this project but when you were at your best, I think you rivaled any other podcast out there.

Also with all due respect, you're a grandmother who may not appreciate or understand internet trolling or culture. None of that stuff matters and it's only coming from really messed up people. I really think you let it effect you and the worse thing you can ever do is feed the trolls. They're just looking for attention and weakness. Acknowledging trolls or even discussing it only fuels it more. You'll notice Art and all public personalities never talk about how much they get fucked with on the internet because it is all really gross and utterly pointless. I say this because I listened to your tone and mood change rapidly as trolls got to you. I think 90% of the negativity would have gone away if the IRC chat was replaced with something more troll proof.

The level of criticism and negativity since Lasha quit directed at you Nancy is utterly jarring and unfair. I am guilty of criticizing the show in chat as well. But the important thing is people are listening and people are passionate for your ideas and creation.

I hope you take some time to enjoy life and I hope none of the negativity gets inside of you because none of it means anything or has merit. I hope you'll consider coming back at some point with maybe a Friday show or a hour long show or being a regular on another show.

But this is all just one angry guy's opinion.

I came into bella chat on most weekday nights looking for an Art Bell after show. Unfortunately I wasn't awake long enough to know if that ever started. I offered very sincere advice, almost nightly. Never once trolled Nancy. But a couple of times she brought up kicking me out because of the stuff I was saying. Flabbergasted, I stopped offering advice. I chalked it up to the generation gap.

I've heard there's a chance someone's willing to do an After show. If that's the case, great. I think with a good setup and coordination, time travelers listening to Art the Next day at work or what have you could also be interested in a follow up show. Of course you have the live crowd as well.

The person willing to do this show needs patience to allow this to grow. It sucks having nowhere to go after Art is off the air now. Hope this happens sooner than later!

It took me a bit to think what I wanted to reply to you    I'm glad you think we're still great!  I think we still are too, and that we always WILL be!  We're a team of wonderful, interesting people. *With the possible exception of myself of course*
