Yes - and in a small form factor too. You can put 4 of them on a card.

I worked on all the Hubble shuttle missions.

Here is a cool video

Wow ... you are a rocket scientist!    When a kid, I had a water bottle rocket.

I was an Estes kid. I still have a Camroc and the Colonial Viper from BSG

Those were fun. The new ones are junk, they don't seal and the plastic is too cheap. Made in china ofcourse (the new ones).
What really sucked about them is when they came down on concrete or blacktop & cracked. They were really fun though. You could get 300' altitude out of them if you pumped them up enough. :)

I had something to do with all of the Shuttle missions beginning with STS-4.

The later ones I didn't really work on, but some of my software was still being used both preparing for the mission and onboard during the flight.

I had a lot of fun jobs during the Shuttle program and a couple that weren't so much fun.

The Columbia and Challenger accidents took a toll on my psyche.

Someday I am going to write a book called Everything I needed to know in kindergarten I learned at NASA

I expect all BellGabbers to buy several copies.

Key is not to add much water. That is the rookie mistake. Haha. I just bought some more rocket engines for kid relatives for Christmas. (Anytime there is a "tragic event" I buy up fireworks, ammo, and rocket-engines, lest some government over-reaction.) My only issue with actual rockets is the last time I did with them went waaay too high and some upper wind took them while floating down, way off-course into the woods. We only could recover one. Sure, could use less powerful engines but, still, come-on, you want to try to go as high as you can! I really don't like how so much fun/science is/will being banned from kids. Now days bringing a pack of firecrackers or a pocket-knife to school will get you a permanent record! I can't believe what would happen with a rocket? Terrorism charge?

Well it's that time again
Time for the Saturday post.

Tonight starting at 8PM Central until Midnight Central ( Thats 6 to 10pm Pacific for you guys in Rio Linda ) on http://ksyl.com is: Art Bell: Somewhere in Time. This time Art returns to June 10, 1997, when Dr. Eugene Mallove spoke about the history of cold fusion/free energy and the conspiracy around the technology.

http://ksyl.com has a live stream listed on their page and they can also be found on Tune-in.
If you are local to NW Louisiana or if the propagation is right, you can hear them on 970AM,
I do not know if the show is in the archive. Jazmunda might have the info on that. However from past info, these may be the "new" classics and may not be in the archive.

For those of you with a bent for nostalgia, from 6pm to 8pm Central, ksyl plays When Radio Was, with old radio shows from the time when "Radio was King!"

Also go to Youtube and "like" all the videos! Help us trend! http://youtube.com/artbell51

Remember "Theres Magic in the Static"
"When you go outside tonight, look to the sky, you never know what you may see"

JUST what I needed this morning Mrs. C  ;D  Hug Carson for me, and give him a kiss on his nose  ;D

Good morning all, thanks wr250 and brig for the delicious breakfast of champions -- BACON! (and eggs).

Carson wants me to let gabrielle and brig know that he would love for the two of you to hang out with him and asked me to pack-up his bags immediately and send him off to you!  As we were digging out our holiday stuff  ... we came upon his hippy t-shirt and he wanted to model for his best friends on Bella-Haven!

More than a decade into it, I still fall into the "English Bacon Trap". I see 'bacon' on a menu and get all excited... they bring me (poorly) fried ham.  :(
My disappointment never ceases to amuse my wife, "It didn't say streaky bacon. Bloody American".

Englishmen (and the damned Canadians too) need to fuck off, with their shitty bacon.

(Puts comforting arm around BB shoulder and speaks in soft tones).....

Look here my friend. You're wrong. What you laughingly refer to as bacon is technically so; but your bride is correct, it is streaky bacon, not proper back bacon. Back bacon can be smoked or unsmoked (My preference); but it's okay. One day a majority of you will plead to to have the D of I revoked and you'll be welcomed into the fold, and purged of all those silly and in some cases just wrong/quaint/idiotic habits you colonials have dropped into in the last 250 years or so...Be patient, we'll teach you.
