OK everyone, it's 5 minutes till the top of the hour.
At the very top of the hour, we're going to send Merle Haggard some healing energy (happy thoughts ;)  .)
He had a big chunk of his lung removed to stop his cancer, and as of the 5th of this month, he's been in the hospital w/ pneumonia.
All it takes is 5-10 seconds of focused thought.
Participate if you like.

90's music, overall, was the suck.

discuss.

Remember 'thrash metal'?  Not enough to indict an entire decade, but certainly strong evidence.

OO's sucked. 90's was fine.

90's hit or miss but some good stuff like the SP.  But the 00's, I stopped listening then.  The real Y2K was the music apocalypse.  All we have now is corporate country, hip-hop marketing, and glam-dance disney pop.

Nope......and I hate the Smashing pumpkins.  ;D

What do you like then, a million slight variations of rap and hardcore throat metal?

Smashing Pumpkin albums are the definition of filler. Their radio hits are usually really good but the actual albums I have never enjoyed.

I agree with the later part of your statement.  AND I retract my statement regarding the 90's.  I just think the 90's caused some of this.

problem with most bands is they get too big for themselves..take Metallica as they can be a point for other bands..up til And Justice they had it...4 albums and for the most part all of them great..they release And Justice..good album..first video..brings them more fans..they let it go to their head and they decide to ..experiment...and that experimentation takes them out of what made them good

It continues to get beat to death by a million outdated bullshit bands that all sound the same.
