The Other Side of Midnight - Richard C. Hoagland - Live Chat Thread

Funny, my feed via the TuneIn Android app dropped about a minute before he started his show, being re-run as it may be.

Could that have been done with intent because he has been complaining about bandwidth?

It's a fast game.  ;D
I just completed 10 randomized Hoagie-O's before they did. I have spent years advising elderly men who sort of look like Walter Cronkite at BINGO. I discovered the 19.5 pattern in Hoagie Bingo and will argue my point until you either give up or I hang up on you.

Greetings Sister Tiger :)
Glad you made it in tonight !
Hi Logan. The internet force has been weak with this one . Surprisingly, all of a sudden it seems good. My neighbor must not be doing his usual midnight porn download

So did mine. I restarted it and then asked myself 'what am I doing' and closed it again.

You're neighbors with Barfly? The reason your internet may be good is he is out with strippers named Lisa for his birthday.

I just tried it and it is dead.  :-\  Maybe the rerun is the reason.

You are quite the wishful thinker.

No shit. Reruns make me sad.
So much so.  This was one of my favorite episodes.  I loved the side stories around the antikythera  mechanism, and Hoagie was lovable (not just vaguely).

A couple days ago there was an open lines show filled with pranks and people blasting Hoaxland. It was amazing.
It was great. Hoaxy thought he was actually talking to someone but it was the Falkie sound board. Lots of funny calls and a couple of different soundboards.

I always miss the Good parties.  I'll have to try to go back and least read the thread.  Did any of our bruupsters call in? In a way it would be great if there were other peanuts calling in besides just us

Yum white hot Piper action...I guess. ;)

I'd take one for the team if it means more Twin Peaks ;).

I'm looking through the old thread from this show.  We all had fun apparently and it was a good show.  8)

Lol. He'll probably never have Open Lines again.  ;D  I'm assuming that was Tuesday night. Did he make any nasty cracks the next night?
Did he post tonight was going to be a rerun or was it another unpublished experiment?

No need to join Club 19.5 since you can just wait for a rerun?

Members of my 19.5 club can listen again and again, anytime they please... and for all of you useless eaters other listeners, out there, remember, you're never more than a few days away from the archives. ~ RCH

Sad. To spice up their week other than the train wreck open lines they have to recycle Rossy period interviews to make this show interesting now.

Prolly passed out somewhere outside in KW. Very easy to do and quite comfortable.

No shit. Reruns make me sad.

Where now are the guests and callers, the bright phones ringing?
Where now are the monuments of Mars, the red sands burning?
Dark under the veil of replays, as though they had never been...
