What did he use the term model in conjunction with?

In conjunction with a dozen pet theories over the course of 20 years.

Yeah, I got annoyed and finally said, "Yeah, we all know that 'cause we listen to you ..."

He can't go 5 minutes without a name drop. I have evidence of a deal (19.5 to be exact) with demons that keep him alive only if he constantly name drops. If he fails to name drop, he'll die and he'll be forced to live in an afterlife that has no 19.5 and all the photos are too crisp and clear to be enhanced.

I've called all night and I'm not getting through.  Perhaps I will give this Skype thing a try.  *sigh* I hate change.  :P

lol, he didn't use the term. But he certainly pulled the "old technology that I know only" argument and the "I've been doing this longer than you have" argument. Now I probably should call back in, because I am far more experienced that I was as a wee little lad.

It's what finally worked for me.

The Force is strong in Trey.
I read up on his 19.5 and Olympus Mons and Cydonia earlier. Was it Astroguy's article I read? 19.6? I was about to get up and start shuffling my chairs around. I really want him to interview Strieber though. Weebs is so sensitive and Hoagie is so assertive. I think it could be good radio, better than an Art rehash.

Lets be honest here, if a civilization can build above ground structures on the moon, and live on them they would not be made of glass!! Poor radiation shielding, damage by micro meteors. Please there are so many cool exotic materials which are being tested in labs, and all you can throw out there is glass??

Use Skype it takes like ten minutes to get through. Just keep spamming it and be ready to mute. Delay will catch you off guard.

Thank you.  I tried to put one in for the team.
And so you did!  Mega braaps, astroguy.

It's not me! I'm still calling! But good on the caller!

I wanted you to say that he should interview me!!!  And you came up with Whitley!?  Bah -- you are dead to me now.

As for Olympus Mons, here's what I wrote about it:

QuoteOr there’s Mars. Hoagland and his ilk claim that the vast Olympus Mons volcano â€" the tallest volcano in the solar system â€" is centered at 19.3° on Mars and is perfect evidence for this hyperbolic geometry. Except that it’s not. The caldera complex of Olympus Mons (there are at least 6 distinct calderas at the summit) range between latitudes 17.8° and 18.8° North. In addition to that, Olympus Mons is so vast with a diameter of around 650 km that the northern scarps start at around 23.5° N while the southern margin is around 13.5° N latitude. So with it spanning over 10°, it’s not that hard to hit it. Besides, Mars has 23 other major volcanoes, and Alba Patera, which is actually the most voluminous volcano in the solar system (as Mauna Loa is the most voluminous volcano on Earth), has a caldera centered at 40.3° N.

Shhh... don't try to break his worldview, he'll explain photo enhancement to you again.

I love how defensive RCH gets.  He gets very angry when you question his gospel.

Okay, now I sorta remember what I was trying to get out of Richard at the end, or at least to show: He's horribly inconsistent.  Official government photos are perfectly legit (if they show what he wants, like the Chinese photos), but they are totally illegit, too (if they don't show what he wants, like LRO, Kaguya, etc.).  It's B.S. and I hope that came through.

It's worse than that. An advanced civilization would have advanced nanotech. That changes the equation massively when you can manipulate individual atoms, even oxygen delivery to the brain or keeping a body from freezing outside a space suit become open questions again. One thing is certain, you don't need a 1950's style glass dome to hold in air. We wouldn't do that now from an engineering standpoint and we never will. It makes no sense.

Imagine Hoagie aggressively badgering Whitley knowing how easily he gets butt hurt. That could be good radio.

Serious debate regarding the politics behind a supposed nuclear war that happened half a billion years ago on a different planet. Only on the Other Side of Midnight.

I got it.  He obviously didn't or didn't want to.

No, please ... no ... I'm going to have nightmares about that.  I'm already in the fetal position just thinking about it.

For the record, I have written papers (actual peer-reviewed papers) on image analysis and done many podcasts on image processing (see the second heading, "Anomalies and Images").

Hey, if the other party would have not elected that asshole who wanted to change that thing in society, the war wouldn't have happened.

I am using it on the computer. Easy to use and install (I am not very Mac savvy, which is what I am using) so if I can do it... ;)
