about 6 weeks ago i was riding my beater bike... it was my beater (my backup) that i was riding since a month earlier my real bike that i use got stolen. anyways, i am leaving for work and have to make a quick return as i forgot my lighter. 5 minutes later i'm back out front sitting on the beater not even rolling yet just adjusting pockets... and <<< BOOM >>> this kid slams into me head on doing a brisk clip while playing pokey man on his phone mounted to his freaking handlebars on some cellphone harness thing.

the slam pre-empted a must-do shopping trip on my way home from work that night so i had nothing to eat and was too beaten to do anything about it.

i uploaded pics of the mangled bike. later that night it ended up on hoagland's show via darren. anyways, i was on my third bike of the summer by mid august. life in chinatown, every day is different.

o no another one -man that sucks for sure- OK bike was mangled but what you did to the kid , lol

I liked Reeling in the Years and Rikki, Don't Lose That Number but much of their catalog is jazzy.  I like jazz but not their style.

Okay...my local commercial just gave a warning for kids eating too much sugar.  The person stated that 60% of one year olds eat too much sugar...yes.  One year olds.

He really creeped me out when he was telling that story (scouting trip?  ) when he had a kid in the car and drove off an exit into another dimension or some weird shit. If that didn't sound like a veiled confession of what he wanted to so with that kid... anyways, that is how it struck me.

Yeah, I remember when it was a hit.  My brother had the record and played it a zillion times.  I was only 5 or 6 but it left its mark on me.
