Yeah, it`s the backflap thing that presents a disturbing image in my mind.

Invoke smells?  LOL!  Okay.  I can do that.

I hope that won't be necessary, but I admire your pluck! Cheers!

Imagine my relief this evening

I have to peel away from the pack, but it has been a pleasure.

As Richard Sharpe Shaver might say,

So long, and thanks for all the stim!
And don't take any wooden Deros...

(RGG, I left the suitcase full of lettuce in the designated spot.  Watch your hat and coat.  You may want to take a ventilator.)

about 6 weeks ago i was riding my beater bike... it was my beater (my backup) that i was riding since a month earlier my real bike that i use got stolen. anyways, i am leaving for work and have to make a quick return as i forgot my lighter. 5 minutes later i'm back out front sitting on the beater not even rolling yet just adjusting pockets... and <<< BOOM >>> this kid slams into me head on doing a brisk clip while playing pokey man on his phone mounted to his freaking handlebars on some cellphone harness thing.

the slam pre-empted a must-do shopping trip on my way home from work that night so i had nothing to eat and was too beaten to do anything about it.

i uploaded pics of the mangled bike. later that night it ended up on hoagland's show via darren. anyways, i was on my third bike of the summer by mid august. life in chinatown, every day is different.

o no another one -man that sucks for sure- OK bike was mangled but what you did to the kid , lol

The only SD song I really like is Deacon Blues.

I liked Reeling in the Years and Rikki, Don't Lose That Number but much of their catalog is jazzy.  I like jazz but not their style.

Now I have to listen to them.  I'll start with Kid Charlemagne.  8)

Eep. sorry. :-[  Hey 19 is an ok song.  Not my favorite but I'd probably listen to if it popped up on the radio.  I haven't heard it in a while.

ShayP

Never been a fan of Whitley Strieber.  Sorry.  A lot are, but... :P

Problem with Whitley is he goes off on all of these wild tangents and speculation.  He is better when he sticks to facts.

the dude gives me the creeps and I wouldn't want him around children

I was reading a little bit of Cam's story. It's pretty wild. Six-armed women and all that
"
"You are right," she boomed back, her six arms engaged in complex wand mysterious movements,
picking up and laying down instruments and tools in bewildering rapidity, her attention elsewhere
yet enough remaining on me to hold me bound in an attraction as strong as a towing cable.
"

LOL this song came out in 72 when I was dating a girl from HS. We still laugh about it when we get together.

Okay...my local commercial just gave a warning for kids eating too much sugar.  The person stated that 60% of one year olds eat too much sugar...yes.  One year olds.

One year olds?  I don't have kids but I know I wouldn't feed my baby sugary stuff.   WTF?

He really creeped me out when he was telling that story (scouting trip?  ) when he had a kid in the car and drove off an exit into another dimension or some weird shit. If that didn't sound like a veiled confession of what he wanted to so with that kid... anyways, that is how it struck me.

Yeah, I remember when it was a hit.  My brother had the record and played it a zillion times.  I was only 5 or 6 but it left its mark on me.
