It seems like only a short time ago that Saturday was the only day without Bell or Knapp... Now it may be Sundays only (to be fair, I have not heard MITD with Red, yet...)

I will be here and it really does sound like mostly a good show tonight (though I may skip out on Nancy.)

I would kind of hope Knapp would too..

Knapp is a very good host. I always enjoy his shows. I know some people think he is dry, but he puts a lot of effort into his shows. I am interested in what his book is about, that he has been working on.

I think Knapp's a really good host as well.  As with any show, you need a good guest to have a really good show.  Telepathic communication with aliens and exolinguistics are probably not the ingredients of a really good show- thankfully it's just for the first hour.

WanagoBleu

Knapp usually always does a good show, even when the guest isn't so great. his "Skinwalker" book was very interesting. And scary.

Totally up for this Lighthouse story.  Just poured myself a fine single malt to pair with the wind-blown, dramatic Scottish setting.

first time listening even to Knapp in months!!!

I'm joining this evening as well. Had to blow the dust off the radio for this one.

Had to dig up one of my old avatars for the occasion.

I knew a lighthouse keeper. One of the last in the UK as things went automated. He loved it. Just lived out there on a rock off the coast of Scotland with his wife and did his own thing.

Ha, it does sound great.  Gimme a library of dusty books, a cabinet of scotch, and a cozy cat for company and I'm set.  Also a harem of babes .. they do come with that right?

not sure about that last one

Knapp has some pretty great bumper music

I wouldn't make a very good lighthouse keeper. I'd get stoned and forget about the light and it would burn out and some ship would crash and then I'd get fired.

This story sounds like one of those lateral thinking puzzles.   ???

Knapp is still the only guest host who doesn't shill for Noory's side ventures like paranormal date sites.
He at least has integrity compared to the other guest hosts who shill for Noory's stuff.

Wow. Love this new development re: the Dyatlov Pass incident. Very cool!

Creepy.  :-\  Can't wait to hear more.   ;)

Very enjoyable show tonight.

Look forward to next week, as well.

Good night Fellow Knappyheads!

Knapp's just the best.

Uncle Duke

Great show, Keith McCloskey is one of my favorite guests.  The lighthouse story reminds me of one of the more intriguing mysteries of WWII, the "Ghost Blimp" as it's come to be known.  Blimp L-8 was on a standard anti-sub patrol off the coast of San Francisco in Aug 1942, armed with anti-sub bombs and crewed by two US Navy officers.  The blimp was noticed to be behaving strangley (by shipboard personnel, aircrew from other aircraft, and various people on land), and it eventually crashed into a golf course near San Francisco, minus crew.
To this day it's unknown what happened to them.  The gondola of the L-8 is on display at the National Museum of Naval Aviation at Pensacola, FL.

One of the chief sources for Lost.

A weird story. C2C or MITD should have a story on that blimp. I will check out this program as I like stories of mystery ships etc. Happens even today (though "they" will tell you it is usually a result of criminal operations of some sort- smugglers abandon ship, pirates kill crew, ship owner who could not sell, tax/insurance fraud, man-overboards attempted rescue cause other sailor to go over, etc.)

The others are pretty much Noory lackies.  Knapp is his own man.  I'm surprised he's still on C2C.

I think he's kinda like Sean Connery was in some of his less memorable movies - he can somehow show up, do his thing, and remain independent of the suckier production as-a-whole.

I haven't listened to the whole show yet but first guest has me thinking that "Bill," or was it "Will" "from Madison" needs to call in with his elaborate Finnish-Urgic theories! The Aliens speak Finnish!
