Uncle Duke

Couple of great guests who basically espoused two points I've foot stomped over the years relative to ufology.

1) Bruce Maccabee (along with John Greenewald of the "Black Vault" site) has proven UFO information can be obtained from government agencies via FOIA as long as the requester understands the process.  From personal experience I know a large number of FOIA requests are not answered to the submitter's satisfaction because the request was not properly filed per public law.  Once again I recommend someone have a FOIA expert on air as a guest to explain the "do's/don'ts/how to's" of filing lawful and proper FOIA requests.

2) Chris Aubeck gave good examples of the need for "UFO reseachers" to take nothing for granted, to check and verify seemingly mundane aspects of a case/sighting lest they look foolish when someone else does it and totally discredits the case/researcher.  I'm reminded of the two "researchers" who wrote the book about the retired O-6 USAF fighter pilot who claimed to have initially chased, then later personally witness the recovery of a crashed saucer along the Texas/Mexico border.  They looked silly when other researchers discovered the individual was sadly nothing more than a delusinal old man who had been in the Civil Air Patrol and never been USF officer or  fighter pilot.  Then there is Knapp himself who neglected to dig deeply enough to realize Bob Lazar was blowing smoke up his ass.

Oh, and Knapp had a dandy anti-USAF rant to start the show.  What a surprise.

Knapp was his usual awesome self.  Sunday night was wonderful!

(By the way, are the icons not working for the rest of you?)

Yup--Art is still not working :(

I like Knapp when he gets his dander up.  His frequent references to "an engraved invitation." Haha. A good show. Dr.Maccabe's website is very eclectic and though not quite C2C material (does not adhere to rule that it should resemble a website that used design tool and hosting site mid-90s like geocities) is interesting. Lots of links to various relatives who have bands in many genres (and some sampling of him tinkling the ivories.)

I'm curious what website Knapp was talking about during his show opening rant?

Am I the only one who thinks that Knapp didn't sound like his usual self on the 27th? Like his audio was slightly muffled or something.

I enjoyed both of George Knapp's guests on the December 27, 2015 show.

Bruce Maccabee has earned his good reputation through many years of dedication and

hard work and is always worth a listen.

Author and researcher Chris Aubeck's book "Return to Magonia" is a collection of

ufo reports through history. His exhausting research using astronomical data that we

now have available and analysis of cultural and historical literature regarding

these sightings is truly impressive. Almost every sentence in this conversation was

educational and interesting. Great Stuff.

Here is George's T.V. report on a Fireball in the Nevada sky that week.

So cool in so many ways

Nice. I'm a big fan of George Knapp. Does anyone know if there is a torrent available of all his past shows?
