It doesn't get any better!

And, Ian is hosting on Tuesday......!!!!
Interesting!  I like Ian and miss him for the weekends.  He's much better than any of the other weekenders, Knapp aside, of course.  Tuesday will be good.

Agreed......I did misread the upcoming shows....Ian will be Noory's guest.  Still good.....just hope Ian doesn't feel compelled to kiss Noory's butt.

Oh, man.  I hope Jorch does an LMH-show approach and shuts the hell up for the most part.  "Threaten the Hoover!"  ;D

Oh, well.  Here's to an unexpected holiday weekend, courtesy of Knapp.

"Thank yeeewww, St. Louis.  Or should that just be Lou?"

I miss Ian.

Neb, I`m going with the Jameson again this weekend. You have me hooked hahaha.

With the balmy summer nites, I've temporarily switched to bourbon over ice for my Knappy-times.  Have found this one to be a good value, and should pair well with the animal welfare show. :D

Hey Zee....

Knapp has talked about having an animal welfare program for quite awhile.  I am sure it will be good.......and, tomorrow night will be even better!

That bourbon looks delicious.

I have been eyeing that one, wondering exactly how the trace of buffalo gets in there.  Is the still fired with buffalo chips?

Like using peat for whisky? Ha. Funny concept you had there. Summer, for me, usually means clear liquors. Then start of football season means brown liquors (even though here it is still well hot through fall.)

Oh, yeah! You guys ready to hear about animal welfare, horse slaughter and trophy hunting?

It's also David Bowie night on TCM Underground. The Hunger followed by Absolute Beginners.

I don't care for this new catchphrase Knapp seems to have picked up in his intro "assume the position"?

I_Speculate

This Cuban Rum is killing me.

Nothing so exotic, sir!  'Traces' were simply old buffalo trails followed by early westward explorers.  One called the "Great Buffalo Trace" passed through the fine Kentucky whiskey country where the distillery lies today.  :)

Sorry I missed muster last night with the Sacred Order of the Knappheads -- I had a previous social engagement. Tonight, however, we shall reconvene!

I was AWOL, as well.  Svengoolie's showing of "The Leech Woman" sucked all the energy out of me and I was out cold.

Tonight's Knapp sounds good.  I've got my bourbon ready.  Graeter's Madagascar Bourbon Vanilla.

Ha, thanks to your advice (HD antenna) I was also able to watch "The Leech Woman" last night. Fun movie and Svengoolie did a good job (sometimes I don't like him, especially when he shows a really good movie, like "The Uninvited" or early Universal movies) but last night he was pretty funny with his schtick about "stock footage" etc. And the movie was pretty good. Didn't listen to Knapp but know animal rights, horse issues, etc are a pet project for him, as I recall, so could be good show. Will listen later.

One of my favorite movies, ever, and a great soundtrack too, Stella by Starlight, I think?

I wasn't keen on the animal welfare show because any type of news about cruelty to animals gets right under my skin and doesn't leave me, but I listened in and it was a really, informative good show. I  have a lot more respect for the Humane Society now. It's gratifying to hear that there actually has been change in the way animals are being treated from the release of elephants from Ringling Brothers to the cage free hens, but there is still a lot of work to do. The wild horse segment, as always, made me so very sad for these beautiful creatures and retired racehorses and their companions. There has to be a better way.

I was vegetarian for years. I think it's time to go semi, at least, just my protest at the cattle ranchers who are destroying our national wildlife heritages for bucks.

Glad you're enjoying the OTA TV.  Svengoolie is usually pure corn but it's his shtick and he seems to be a decent guy so I don't mind him.

I enjoy the old sci fi and horror he shows.  It takes me back to the old Saturday matinee specials and Chiller theaters of my childhood.  One of my favorite Sven's is when he shows "Curse of the Undead."  We're overdo for it.

Don't think I've seen that but would be up for it. Don't get me wrong, he brings back good memories of my "horror host" Count Gore De Vol and I think those old movies, just sometimes when he plays an actually good movie I don't like the shtick, as much.
ps: if I spoke Espanol the OTA would really be good in my region. But as it is it is awesome, better HD for sports, all the local ones and some extra PBS ones, and also a few other channels that are good and show older, but more modern, shows like Magnum PI, Murder She Wrote, etc. And one that shows old movies. So in addition to MeTV? Excellent and $8 one-time only purchase??!

WOOHOOO!!!  Get ready.....a full moon and Knapp.....and, Jameson on the rocks...poured and ready for a SUPER Sunday night!

Zee, are you with me?  It's Over?  Fight?

All of the Knapp fans?

Let's enjoy ourselves!  Love you guys!

Present and accounted for! I also have the Irish nectar of the Gods, Neb. Smooth sipping, and smooth sailing tonight.

I think I should get in my car and drive somewhere far just for old times sake.

I've began many a road trip around Knapp's Sunday show.

I'm in my PJs, and ready for some late-night Knappy action!

Checking in, Neb.  I've got what kind of passes for jammies on and am in full recline mode, ready for lift-off.
