Hi Neb, yeah I might catch the first hour, just since Basiago always weirds me out.

As for Jimmy, yeah I give him the standard +5 bonus for being not Noory, but a -3 penalty for being a little bit of 'the cool guy' wannabe.  So net is he's ok sometimes.

Thanks for mentioning Basiago is on tonight, Zeeb.  The slime factor for Jorch's buddy is too much for me but little "Big Foot" Basiago's nuttyness may draw me in.  I can understand why he'd attract squirrels. ;)  :))

Hey!  I thought that was me!  I was there, too, you know.  While planning a trip to Gettysburg, I thought, hell, why screw around?  If I'm going to go, why not hop in my Time Machine and check it out at a prime time.  The food kind of sucked but I got a great deal on room.  They didn't take Visa, though.  Bastards.

Guys, guys, you're both right.  It's just you were in two different timelines.  Problem is, one of you came back into the wrong one, and we can't have that.  The authorities may be on to you.

Just like John Titor? (The real one, not the other guy John Tie-tor)

Could be an interesting Sunday night.

Mob Confessions/ Ackerman & the Afterlife

Date:   Sunday - July 24, 2016
Host:   George Knapp
Guests:   Charles Brandt, Paul Davids, John Allison
First Half: In the course of nearly five years of recorded interviews, Frank Sheeran confessed to investigative author Charles Brandt that he handled more than 25 hits for the Mob, and for his friend Jimmy Hoffa. Joining George Knapp, Brandt shares an update to his original investigation with more evidence about Sheeran's involvement with Hoffa, new information on other famous murders, and the announcement of a film adaptation of his book from director Martin Scorsese.

Second Half: Pioneering promoter of sci-fi books and films, the late Forrest J. Ackerman, never believed in an afterlife of the soul; nonetheless, he promised a few respected colleagues that if it were possible he would try to send messages from the beyond. Authors and researchers Paul Davids and John Allison, will detail more than 100 incidents of Ackerman's unusual and uncanny messages and phenomena, as well as impressive scientific support of an afterlife.

Mob Confessions/ Ackerman & the Afterlife

Dearest Knappyheads, I think I'll be skipping this show as I'm not really into the true crime stuff, and seems like I've heard that Ackerman story too many times lately.  For me I'm giving the show topics a bonk tonite, but hope you all enjoy!

Ditto.  I've heard Davids story enough times already.  It is fascinating if you've never heard it before but he just regurgitates the same stuff in every interview he gives.

Good evening, my fellow Knappyheads. I am locked and loaded for action tonight! I see Zeeb has bowed-out tonight. His wit shall be missed.

Uh oh looks like C21 is going stage left on us, too. Ok, my friend, enjoy your evening.

Damn, I have a good excuse, at least.  I'm relaxing in the ER with some pain meds for what looks to be a gall bladder attack.  Sorry, Mr. Knapp.

A good topic, too bad contractual obligations limit hosts to the semi-demi-hemi-annual broadcasts...

I rarely listen to C2C when Noory is hosting for fear of accelerating my loss of brain cells and hastening the time when the folks from "The Home" come to get me.  I have long thought that George Knapp is by far the best guest host and definitely the only host that qualifies as a real journalist (all the other's, including Noory being talk show personalities).  Aside from his journalistic chops I admire his ability to ask penetrating questions while maintaining his objectivity and his graciousness towards guests without fawning over them like virtually all the other guests hosts and especially Noory are wont to do.  He also seems to have a low bullshit tolerance which I admire in a man. Glad to find others who appreciate his work.

In most people I appreciate a high bullshit tolerance, but in a talk show m.c. I definitely prefer it low, so yeah.

Boy the old FBI agents must be pissed off now. All that wasted time searching and digging up all the areas, and the whole time dear old Mr. Hoffa was roasted and toasted years ago! >:( :o
