Joel AND Mike riffing together on the same stage?
This is exciting!
Yessiree!  Plus, they'll be riffing shorts.  That's always good.

Cam abides in the Temple of Knapp, bearing offerings of beguiling puréed fruit: translucent white Knapples, harvested from the underworld.

clue: I buried George - a.k.a. : Knapplesauce.

Hoped for bumper music already playing in my head tonight:

I'm a space cowboy, bet you weren't ready for that...
I'm a space cowboy, I'm sure you know where it's at...
Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah

The Jameson is poured, and I am anticipating the first hour guest, George Carlin's daughter.  I have his book:  BRAIN DROPPINGS......excellent insights about the crazy world we inhabit.  I recommend it.  I don't remember when George wrote it, but it was definitely over a decade ago.

So, to Zeeb, Paperboy, It's Over, Coaster, and all of us who love Knapp.......enjoy!
"Thank yeeewww!"

Welcome!  Sip and savor often.

Morning/Evening all.  Imagine a Coast to Coast AM host actually reading the book.  Bad George doesn't even try to color them anymore.

Welcome!  Sip and savor often.

TY, sir. And Knappy salutations to you, as well. Sipping is the key tonight. Looking forward to Dick Dolan and Paul Stonehill

Hey Fight.....neglected to give you salutations!

Kelley (Kelly) Carlin is as articulate as her dad.  I, as I assume most of you, have loved Carlin.  He died too soon......but, he definitely has a daughter who carries on his legacy.

Damn.....Knapp is such a GREAT interviewer....and, HE ACTUALLY DOES HIS HOMEWORK....LIKE, READING THE BOOK!

Better take a sip....and continue listening......

Zeeb.......are you listening?

There was a freak accident today on the Santa Monica freeway. Two freaks in a van ran into two freaks in a VW beetle

...Kelley (Kelly) Carlin is as articulate as her dad.  I, as I assume most of you, have loved Carlin...

One thing I loved about him was his skill and inventiveness with the English language.  He was edgy of course - some of his stuff is still shocking even today - but he had such an insightful and clever way of describing it that I was always amused and even enlightened by it.

I love Belzer, too! And Gilbert haha

So neat that Knapp knew Carlin.  Doesn't surprise me at all.  Too cool.

Now if only Gilbert Gottfried can be worked into the USO stories.   ;D

As an English major at UNL, I, too, appreciate what you just said!  Welcome Zeeb!

I could listen to Kelley for another hour....but, Dolan is awesome too!  I met him at the MUFON Symposium in Denver in 1997? 1998?....He was gracious and fun.

USOs are a fav topic of mine....so, another Jameson.....and off we go!

Knapp is so damned cool.......he is smart, humble, articulate, and doesn't ever take himself too seriously.  The best.

One of my fave Carlin lines was, in response to the God-is-a-woman idea:  "But of course God must be a man .... Only a man could have fucked things up this bad."

Carlin was part of the Vegas family. It's a close knit family for those Vegas performers, personalities. Buddy Hackett's son produced several music and comedy productions in Vegas where I did some stand up and sketch comedy . You'd be shoulder to shoulder with the greats.

Looking forward to this second half.

Very wise guy  ;D

If you haven't seen Carlin's comparing baseball and football ... classic. I would find and post it but you know ... lazy

Hey FTF!

Just finished Game Of Thrones. Figured that I would stay up as I'm interested in the topic tonight. Just a quick pop in BG for a bit.
