It's not fair.  It's like having a high-end 3-course meal two Sundays in a row, then following it up with a freezer-burned mystery-meat burrito.

So sad......

I was listening to a very early Knapp show where he mentioned going on the internet and finding himself called an asshat. "An asshat", he said, "what is an asshat"? It was followed by a very funny riff on the word asshat and it's possible meanings.

I think that was the show where I knew C2C finally found itself a winner, a funny, self-deprecating, highly intelligent man who doesn't take himself all that seriously when he shouldn't. I sort of hope he reads BG. I think he'd like this thread.

It's fun to go back to his earlier shows and listen to how his intro evolved. Or to hear him basically beg the audience for forgiveness because he might screw up from time to time. Definitely a fun bit of wit there.

Oh sh.... NO Knapp tonight! You know, that really sucks.

:)  The good news is we're one week closer to Knapp Time and it's not Super Suck Sunday.

Good positive spin there, IO. Just what the doctor ordered. Thank-you.

He just put in a very solid weekend.  So nice to hear competent, engaging interviews.

Let's start a new c2c, with Knappster & Shrade as primary hosts.  We'll let Noory have the once-a-year April Fools Day show as a consolation prize.

I have two of GK's show's lined up to listen too...can't wait! Hopefully he can stop by our GabFest thing in August which he said seemed doable..that would be super cool!

Russian USO Incidents

Sunday - May 15, 2016

Hosted by George Knapp

Guest(s): Paul Stonehill, Richard Dolan, Kelly Carlin

First hour guest, storyteller and radio host Kelly Carlin, shares

candid memories of her father, the late comedian George Carlin.

Knapp-tacular

With his sense of humor and no nonsense journalistic drive to get

the information and the story. G.K. knows that he is telling a

story to an audience on C2C. He is a great Storyteller-Broadcaster- Host.

        "Wanna Take A Ride"

He has a way of connecting to the regular folks and find common

ground with everybody. Including his guests from Academia, Business,

Military and Government. You can feel it in the way they respond to

him on the show.

He is up to date with online content and seems to be plugged

in to so many things that sometimes when listening to the show I

feel like he is talking right to me.

Thanks G.K.  Keep The Faith, Baby.

Ha!  Careful,  Nebraska.  You don't want to start TOO soon. :)

Me? Maybe I'll have an extra glass of Metamucil.  Neat , of course.  I might really go hog wild and have some vanilla Greek yogurt.  Yes, "I am...a wild and crazy guy!"

Ah, the evil tempter squirrel!  OK, but no acorns.  They make me constipated.  Now, "get off my lawn!"  ;)

Cam, do you know about the live MST3K reunion in June?

https://www.pastemagazine.com/articles/2016/04/a-full-mst3k-cast-reunion-is-finally-happening-in.html

" members will include:

Joel Hodgson (Joel Robinson)
Michael J. Nelson (Mike Nelson)
Kevin Murphy (Tom Servo),
Bill Corbett (Crow T. Robot),
Frank Conniff (TV’s Frank),
Trace Beaulieu (Dr. Clayton Forrester, Crow T. Robot),
Mary Jo Pehl (Pearl Forrester)
Bridget Nelson (Nuveena, Mr. B Natural)
Jonah Ray (Jonah Heston, new character on the MST3k reboot)

Quite the all-star lineup. According to the Rifftrax Kickstarter, the live-streamed show will primarily focus on riffing short films, in the style that MST3k loved to eviscerate, ‘ala “Hired!” or “A Date With Your Family.”

I now return us to Knapp, with no mention of Falkie.  Woops.

The reunion sounds fantastic.

Oh, good, the pm went through.  It doesn't show on my sent list.

I currently have complete and total blockage, so it's not just you, Cam.  Your cool.  Too many love notes from possible PremRat operatives, Bobo, and Falkie fans.

The Jameson is poured, and I am anticipating the first hour guest, George Carlin's daughter.  I have his book:  BRAIN DROPPINGS......excellent insights about the crazy world we inhabit.  I recommend it.  I don't remember when George wrote it, but it was definitely over a decade ago.

So, to Zeeb, Paperboy, It's Over, Coaster, and all of us who love Knapp.......enjoy!

Good evening Knappyheads. Just settling in. Can't miss the intro. Rock on, Good George!
