Pence made this point. I've got to say, I don't see the problem with, say, Saudi money going to charities which do what they won't -- allow women to prosper and achieve their potential. It sounds like a bad thing to take the money until you think it through.

I know the arguments that bad guys were trying to buy favors, but as I've said before, I don't think they had any hope of getting their money's worth with the Clintons.

Saudi Arabia doesn't sell the United States much oil (although it may have sold the U.S a lot more oil for some of the time Hillary Clinton was Secretary of State) but it does sell the U.S European allies a lot of oil and Saudi Arabia is also a very important ally in the Middle East for the United States.  The idea that a donation to the Clinton Foundation would have made the U.S government or even Secretary Clinton do something for Saudi Arabia that those other, far more important things, would not have done, strikes me as absurd.

Sometimes I think they want to fail. Use some guy with as much charisma as a wooden plank to overcome the campaign's self-admitted problem of making Hillary "seem human?" Well, maybe a good strategy? Compared to Gore she might seem like she is human. Also this hurricane gives Gore a chance to use the "warming" argument and doom/end-of-the-world if Trump is elected because even more storms, and stronger ones (meanwhile the Clintons are just hoping all documentation and servers not yet wiped used in their Foundation and "charitable" efforts there will be destroyed in Haiti by the storm.)

It is mind boggling how the left has turned into exactly what they despised and fought against in 2006-2008. Our forefathers were profound geniuses for devising a system that systematically removes power from a group when they turn rotten.

I just wish we had shorter term limits so there wouldn't be so much risk. I don't think people would be losing their shit nearly as much if we were only risking one year of Trump or Clinton instead of four.

At least there are the midterms.

Yeah, the political amnesia is amazing on the left. They used to be harmlessly preachy, especially the Canadian left, but now they're open war-mongering hypocrites all of a sudden. They'll just say anything now. They literally have no coherent ideology anymore. It's just whatever they need to say at the time to get whomever elected.

I agree. In the modern age short 1-2 year term limits seems to make more sense. It would be a nightmare of its own though, we'd never get any breaks from the political cycle lol. Just 24/7 365 days a year presidential races.

Yeah I might agree with you about Trump being a Judas goat except I think it very unlikely that his ego would allow him to willingly suffer a humiliating defeat.  No doubt he is an ineloquent klutz who continues to shoot himself in both feet but I am hoping that as president the hardnosed yet pragmatic businessman side of him will emerge and what he is lacking in political, military and diplomatic sense will be compensated for by a strong cabinet.  Okay, that may be kind of a blue-sky scenario but I think I might vote for anyone with a better record than Pol Pot if he or she were running against Hiliary.

I don't think that limiting terms is the answer.  I think it's the two party system that is most responsible for the political corruption and the virtual lifetime terms that the political machines  in many states are able to dole out to the favored.    It seems to me a wider choice of party and platform might improve the situation and at the very least serve to blunt the power of entrenched political cabals.  This is the only election season in my long memory that has given rise to the real prospect of a viable third party emerging in the near future.

I supposed you've never heard of Syria then?

The only reason 'regime change' is necessary in Syria is because the Saudi's want a pipeline to Europe.  Assad isn't going to allow that as the Russian already have a pipeline to Europe and that automatically makes Assad evil and necessitates his violent overthrow.  The Saudi's get a Clinton-Obama staged war in Syria because they have paid for it in cold hard cash.

Not understanding this strikes me as absurd.

QuoteThe conventional wisdom holds that sweeping demographic shifts propelled Barack Obama to the presidency.

So here’s a simple question: Why haven’t these demographics swept Hillary Clinton to a big polling lead and a smooth glide to victory?

What he said! People need to understand that this is the reality of the situation. All the hand wringing being done by Democrats about the Syrian people is just an emotional manipulation in service of this agenda.

Can't we just imprison this whole administration and let the electric chair sort them out?

Didn't happen with the Reagan Administration, won't happen now.

Oh yes they can and did. Pick something a donor wanted and find the correlation.

Suadia Arabia F15s and enhancements
Russian and uranium mines
Laurrette University and $55 million of state dept grants to the CEO's youth charity.

We were selling F15s and other arms to SA long before Hillary took office, and I'd need actual evidence that it was a bribe and she personally profited. The Laurrette thing I don't know a lot about but even in the worst case scenario. a person giving to one charity in order to get government support for another charity is not so terrible, is it? All corruption should be so beneficial to society. Can't comment on the third example.

Yeah, Hillary wasn't Sec of State during the Russian Uranium deal, and that had to go through nine government agencies, including Homeland Security, to get approval. It's been debunked, and the author of "Clinton Cash" was forced to admit there's no evidence for it.

But of course, in the Hillary debate, the "no evidence aspect" doesn't have the same importance for both sides. If Hillary had at any point been charged with a crime, can you imagine any of the "Hillary is evil" crowd on BellGab getting selected for the jury? No way could they even pretend to set their emotions aside and make judgments based solely on the law and evidence presented.

Rationality can't debate irrationality. I suggest arm wrestling.

Considering this happened pre 2008, before Hillary would even know she would be the Sec of State? Not really.

There's no reason to imagine that she would have to know at that time, unless one is presupposing that she is literally the apex of some vast left-wing conspiracy, which obviously is not the case.

You make a lot of assumptions. Have you ever been told that by a girl?
