The worst thing about the Clintons is that they have suckered so many good, honest, caring liberals into supporting them.

Rent at Trump Tower Surged After Donald Trump Stopped Self-Funding

Since Trump transitioned from self-funding to relying on donors to get him to the White House, his campaign spending has surgedâ€"particularly when the money is going to the billionaire’s own businesses.

In March, when Trump was still paying for his presidential run mostly out of his own pocket, his campaign spent $35,458 to rent its headquarters in Trump Tower. Last month, however, that figure surged to $169,758, even as the number of paid campaign employees and staff dropped from 197 to 172 over the same period. -Vanity Fair

What is it compared to other tenants with similar property?

Hitlary is bilking her donors for far more. Look at TigerLily with the pro spin, linking the same story I just did. What a stud.

Here's How Donald Trump's Campaign Is Spending Its Money

After a lethargic start, Donald Trump is starting to bring some serious cash into its coffers. He brought in around $80 million in July, compared with $90 million for Hillary Clinton, according to Trump’s latest filing with the Federal Elections Commission.

So how is the campaign spending its money?

USA Today notes that Trump has a staff of 82, compared with Clinton’s staff of more than 700.

Trump is even spending more on renting arenas for his rallies than on campaign staff, reports the New York Times.

Trump’s latest FEC filing shows that an outsized portion of his campaign expenditures in Julyâ€"$8.4 million out of $18.5 millionâ€"went to Giles-Parscale, a small web services outfit in San Antonio, Texas. The company’s president, Brad Parscale, is the Trump campaign’s digital director and a major contractor of Trump Winery and the Eric Trump Foundation

The other major expenditure for the Trump campaign in July was travel, with $2 million spent on outside private jets and $500,000 going to the Trump-owned TAG Air.  -Fortune

Have to admit that I think she's got Trump on this one.

Those of us who care much more about our country than any candidate need to be able to recognize and call them out when there are improprieties; otherwise, we allow them to set the stage for more of the same old corruption, except, in 'their' favor.

All in all, the Clinton Crime Family far surpasses anything Trump has done wrong. I do believe that Trump does have, at least, somewhat good intentions to improve our country while I also fully believe that the Clintons only care about using and abusing any and everything for their own personal gain and be damned with America and its citizens.

Astrid. With the two articles I posted you don't think Donald knows he has already lost and is using the campaign money to funnel into his own private enterprises?

And where are his tax returns? Aren't you the least bit curious?

Quote1.) Emails released by Wikileaks showing that Hillary Clinton looked into a drug used to treat sleepiness and Parkinson’s disease after she apparently began suffering from “decision fatigue” back in 2011.

2.) Leaked Wikileaks emails proving that a member of her staff, Phillippe Reines, reached out to NFL commissioner Roger Goodell for help with Hillary Clinton’s “cracked head” back in 2012.

3.) A small number of informants have come forward to claim that Clinton is suffering from multiple sclerosis. The condition is an autoimmune disease that can affect major functions of the body, such as the brain and spinal cord.

4.) Rutgers University Professor of Medicine Bob Lahita stating recently that concerns about Hillary Clinton's health are not conspiracy theories and, instead, should be taken very seriously.

5.) Board-certified internist, addiction medicine specialist and TV personality, Dr. Drew Pinsky, who recently stated that he is “gravely concerned” about Hillary Clinton's physical well-being.

6.) Neurologist Dr. Fiona Gupta recently warning that Hillary Clinton’s “long history of unexplained falls” should be explained by her campaign making a full record of her health issues publicly available.

But wait...

QuoteDemocrat Hillary Clinton has been leasing two entire floors in a Brooklyn office building totaling 80,000 square feet since the start of her campaign. The rent for that space has been about $212,000 per month. Her campaign staff is also several times the size of Trump’s, numbering more than 700 for the better part of a year.

Honestly, no. His ego is way too bloated. He doesn't just think, but 'believes' that he will win. I don't know if he will or not but I do believe, like Hillary, he'll stick it out to the end and do everything he can to do so. Don't know if he'll make the right choices but, like many major leaders and business people, both Trump and Hillary have serious narcissistic tendencies that have them dedicated till the end. But, honestly, I have no doubt that Hillary is also pychopathic making her much more dangerous and cold. Trump at least has empathy.

Hillary has already proven that she abuses and funnels money towards her own best interests. Wouldn't surprise me if Trump too takes advantage of some channels that exist that help his wealth. We're going to be stuck with one of them and I'll choose Trump because I believe that he'll at least try to help us out along the way. With Hillary, it's more downhill sliding but with more momentum.

Yes. She is running a serious campaign. What are Donald's 82 staff members doing? Fetching Perrier or Trump wine and selecting which China made Trump tie he should wear?

Freaking AP.  They still don't completely get "conflict of interest," in their Clinton bombshell.  "Clinton met with representatives of at least 16 foreign governments that donated as much as $170 million to the Clinton charity, but they were not included in AP's calculations because such meetings would presumably have been part of her diplomatic duties." WTF.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/many-donors-clinton-foundation-met-her-state-183315225--election.html

One of the big things with conflict of interest in the Executive Branch is avoiding even the APPEARANCE of any impropriety.  Hilary should have recused herself from ANY dealings with entities, including foreign governments, if there could even be the appearance of conflict with her personal interests. She should have recognized the impropriety of the situation prior to be appointed Secretary of State and legally disassociated herself from the Clinton Foundation, since it should have been obvious it would appear to conflict with her official duties.  Hell, she's a damn lawyer.  She knew damn what she was doing.

Hey, Gravity Sucks.  Imagine being the NASA Administrator while you were simultaneously accepting donations from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Russia for your personal organization.  How do you think that would have gone over?  Well, assuming your last name isn't Clinton. ;)

Clinton and Obama are trying to set some kind of record with the "in your face, ethics don't apply here". 251 individuals have played the revolving door trick between Google corporate and government positions.

https://googletransparencyproject.org/articles/googles-revolving-door-us

Including 23 at the State Department.

This is not just with the Obama administration. This is a cancer through the entire federal government. While contracting for NASA I saw instance after instance where NASA senior officials went to work for the Boeings and Lockheed immediately after retiring. Often, the companies would have to stick them into a job in a DoD contract before moving them back into a NASA contract. When I worked at Rockwell, Gene Kranz was head of Mission Operations. At one time, at least 2 of his kids worked for us, and there might have been a third. One was in PR and one was a contract funding accounting type. Not sure why that wasn't a conflict of interest.

You see this happen at the SEC, FDA, Treasury, HHS and EPA. It is like a terminal stage 4 cancer simply because of the size and weight of the behemoth we have for a federal government. Flesh eating bacteria can't even consume it faster than it grows.

Democrats and Republicans both are responsible for us being $19 trillion in debt. The debt doubled under Bush and doubled again under Obama, but neither of them did it on their own. Both parties have controlled Congress during the last 16 years and nothing has been done to stem the growth of our federal debt.

Now you got me rambling. Yes, Clinton is definitely the right candidate for the times. The federal government is corrupt, so if the spotlight can shine on her corruption, the rest of the day to day corruption can continue on unabated.

Throw them all out.

... And his tax returns?

There`s two reasons Trump will NEVER release his tax returns. First, we would be able to see that he doesn`t have near the cash flow he says he does. In fact, I seriously doubt he`s nearly as wealthy as he pretends to be.

Second, he doesn`t want the public to know what a sorry lying cheapskate he is when it comes to charitable contributions.

... And his tax returns?

There is no rule, regulation, or constitutional requirement for the release of tax returns.

He said he would release them after the audit was completed. Maybe that was a tactical manuever to get the IRS to complete their audit quickly.

On the subject of tax returns. Did you see that the Clinton's 10% "tithing" level of charitable deductions all went to themselves or entities that they control? Discuss.

Did you notice after requesting two delays in filing financial disclosures with the FEC, Bernie finally just said eff it and took his hush money and paid cash for his third home, a $600,000 beachfront property on an island in Lake Champlain? He never did file the disclosures. Pretty good return on investment for a guy that never had a job until he was 41.

Why do people want to know what Trump donated to charity?  Biden gives an average of $369 per year to charity. No one calls him out for lack of caring. I gave that much to the United Way when I was an E3 airman in 1975. I guess a VP doesn't get the annual pressure to set up a recurring donation to the United Way.

If you keep talking about Trump in this thread, we might be able to get up to page 52 before November. Kind of like the difference in size of the rallies. Yuuuge difference.

It's so odd how you constantly post from the same few bs right wing rags. You do need to expand where you get your news.

Serious post, the Obama administration just did something that has pissed me off something fierce and no one on the politics forum is even informed enough to even know what it is is. ;) It kind of amuses me, if I wasn't so pissed at the moment all things considered.

That is the second Fox News link I have ever posted. I figure you are intimately familiar with all of the many bs left wing rags, so I feel the need to enlighten.

Here is the only story I feel CNN has gotten right in many, many years, and no other main stream media outlet seems to want to touch the story. I only discovered it by going through the wiki leaks transcriptions of the leaked recording transcripts. One of the biggest contracting frauds that I have heard of.

If you think CNN is left wing you probably should learn what left wing is my child :) I get my news from multiple sources and CNN isn't really one of them. I don't even have cable lol. What kind of millennial do you take me for?

I even gave you a peace offering telling you I was livid at the administration and you ignored that!

Post it in the Random Political Thoughts and I will feel your pain. Can't risk getting too many pages in the Hillary thread discussing Obama's truly shitty golf handicap.

p.s. Fox News is too left wing for me. That is why I generally don't post links to them.

... And his tax returns?

Not something I'm all that interested in, for either candidate. They are both very rich which allows them both all kinds of tax breaks the rest of us aren't entitled to or that I understand all that well. Of course, they both work the system to their advantages. Only wise.

Gravity said anything else worth saying before I got back here.

What I'm more concerned with is what either would do with 'our' taxes. Based on what both have already revealed, I know I'd get a tax break, which I could dearly use, from Trump. With Hillary, I would continue to get screwed as well as end up with even less of a chance of finding a better job for a variety of different reasons.

Saw a news commentator today make a point of noting that Hillary's plan would not touch her, or even Trump's, wealth because it is not income. She intends to tax income, not holdings and such. (Not that I'm all that concerned with taxing the rich either. Unlike most Libs, I don't suffer from class envy and don't have a penchant for taking everything they own nor hate them for their wealth.) That opened my eyes a little further. Other than maybe a house/car or two, about all many of the middle classes and lower have is income. Yet again, income is what she's going after which will disproportinately, yet again, hurt the middle to lower end workers. Trump wants to lower the taxes on income. Btw, the government originally wasn't supposed to be taxing individuals' income but somewhere along the line, they started doing so and just keep going after our hard labor more and more as time goes on. Very anti-productive.
