Hillary Clinton

Can sick people not open a jar of pickles? I'm completely confused what that point of that was. I get it's viral bullshit to go around the web. But they're telling me people with Parkinson's or on a colostomy bag can't open a jar of pickles?

A president can only screw up so much in 4-8 years. What terrifies me is thought of her appointing 1-4 Supreme Court justices and screwing up the next 1-4 generations.

*sigh*   1-4 SCJs appointed by Hillary. That would be my dream come true. Unless it was Bernie doing the appointing

His diet alone bothers me. Very unhealthy eater. Neither one of them are the epitome of acceptable health. It's their agendas that I'm much more concerned about.

But when it comes down to it, when all is said and done, I have absolutely no doubt that Trump will drag us through Hell but the Hildebeast will take us to much, much deeper depths of Hell than anyone else could ever do. She truly scares the crap out of me.

Serious post.  How do you think she would be that different than Bill or Barack? Somehow we survived them.

There is a prescribed way for changing the constitution. It is not supposed to be changed with a SCOTUS decision.

Serious response. She wouldn't. Well, she is more ruthless than either of them, but that is besides the point. That is why I don't want her in office.

Maybe you did but I barely did, especially Obama. And yes, I'm dead serious about that. Besides, I'm completely disgusted with all of the blatant corruption amongst all of them. I don't know if I'll do any better with Trump (and I don't assume he's squeaky clean either) but all that Hillary has been proposing, I 'know' I'll be much worse off if she wins.

Sometime I would like a pointed discussion where we could each explain our positions on subjects like this.  Not to stir up emotions but just engage in a rational discussion.  I think all of us would empathize with each other far more if we knew what provoked our beliefs.

In this case, what do you think the end result will be if we place liberal justices on the Supreme Court?  How will it benefit the United States?  Why do you believe that liberal justices need to be put on the court?

In my case, I think liberal justices stray far from the constittutional and legal framework of the country and I think it is terrible for the country in most cases.

"Hate speech" laws and the death of free speech and free internet.
Her mistress is a wild jahoodi and she's owned by Muslims. Even Obama isn't that cray cray.
Corruption on a level not thought possible.
Complete Alinsky divisiveness as America declines into a third world culture.
The death of the middle class as corporations and government become the same thing.
Complete federal incompetence while Hillary is on vacation for at least 1/2 her time in office.
Expansion of debt to the point she might break this country.
Open borders leading to more desecration of our economy and society with a whole lot more terrorism.
Rampant globalism to the point our country might not mean much anymore.

Those are the things that immediately come to mind.

Say goodbye to the Bill of Rights and hello to Bill's Nightmare.  The good news is the number of public restrooms available to us will double.

Sadly, she's got a long way to go to catch up with the Obama vacation records. Worse yet, thanks, in part, to many of their policies and scams; (yes, a lot of the Republicans are just as guilty); millions of Americans don't receive even one measly day of vacation anymore. ObamaCare is a big part of that.

Bush Jr. was the worst in my memory. Guy was always on vacation while the world was burning. Say what you want about Trump but he'll show up every day.

Obamacare is a complete disaster and it goes into hyperdrive next year.

But that's too inconvenient for the elites. It's much easier just to pick people who will rewrite things for you.  Who's going to stop them?  Big Sis will know best.

I'm sorry about whatever difficulties you've had.  Your reasons seem personal and your feelings are your own.  I won't delve any further.

Thanks for that, 21. We bonded over a discussion on Citizens United. Any further discussion would be more about generalities and "what if's". From there it could only spiral down into ideology and emotions. We see the world differently. I'm very sorry to see such a gulf in this country between serious, thoughtful people.

That's why when I am doing serious posts I stick to facts and evidence.  But I know I won't change anyone's mind. Just trying to shine some light into the morass for anyone interested

Thank you. Appreciated. Don't want to take it any further online because it is personal and I don't like to reveal too much about myself on the internet. I'm not at all the only one sinking in the very same boat either because of what our politicians, governments, social leaders, some businesses and religious leaders have done to rape us and prevent us from taking care of ourselves.

Ultimately, I know we both want what's best for all of us but we have different views of what might take us there. It does help when we can respect each others' views and have a civil discussion. Hope the debates will be that civil.

Seems a lot of idiots think the gay/abortion/social issues BS is the most important thing one needs to be concerned about in this country during this election. It's pretty damn meaningless in the midst of this country's real problems.

I do seek to understand other people and where they are coming from instead of hurling insults at each other.   We each have  sociocultural environment that shapes our  beliefs especially when we are growing up.  I grew up next to Valley Forge and Philadelphia and the patriotic fervor of the Bicentennial as well as the history of our Founding really shaped my views.  At the same time, I'm very southern in temperament due to family background and such.  I've always felt that the secessionists of the Civil War era merely espoused the same principles as our Founders and that was something that the Yankees seemed to forget.  I'm speaking of other principles besides slavery.  Slavery casted a pall on our country and may it never resurface in our 4 corners again. I am a proud descendant of revolutionaries, Rebels and Indians. All these factors shaped who I am.

I love Washington, Jefferson, Lincoln, Lee, Stonewall Jackson and Teddy Roosevelt.  I don't particularly care for Andrew Jackson though he is from the state where I have the deepest roots.  He betrayed the Indians and for that he has my everlasting contempt.  I despise Sherman for  the same reason and for what he did to the South.

I guess if I had stayed in California when I was a lad, I'd be a very different person than I am now.  Then again, maybe not.  I loved Tricky Dick in my infantile years and thought he was funny.  I begged my parents to vote for him in '72.  Maybe I was simply born a Republican.  It would be interesting to see if I had a past life.  I also have a great love for old Hollywood and early cinema.  I guess I'd probably be in show business if I had stayed in California.

With all that said, sometimes when I get in a mood, I can hurl insults with the best of them though I really have no desire to do so except in humor.

Hillary Clinton is scheduled to deliver a speech this Thursday where she will include a condemnation of #gamergate. She is going to tie that movement to the "alt-right" which in turn will both be linked back to Trump. She is going to declare war on memes. I hope that Pepe is mentioned. The sight of Pepe in SS uniform is deeply triggering to people of a certain political persuasion and major news outlets like the Washington Post and Daily Beast have been writing angry hit pieces about this stupid frog. I am so excited. This whole election has be very weird. It keeps getting weirder.

Freaking AP.  They still don't completely get "conflict of interest," in their Clinton bombshell.  "Clinton met with representatives of at least 16 foreign governments that donated as much as $170 million to the Clinton charity, but they were not included in AP's calculations because such meetings would presumably have been part of her diplomatic duties." WTF.

https://www.yahoo.com/news/many-donors-clinton-foundation-met-her-state-183315225--election.html

One of the big things with conflict of interest in the Executive Branch is avoiding even the APPEARANCE of any impropriety.  Hilary should have recused herself from ANY dealings with entities, including foreign governments, if there could even be the appearance of conflict with her personal interests. She should have recognized the impropriety of the situation prior to be appointed Secretary of State and legally disassociated herself from the Clinton Foundation, since it should have been obvious it would appear to conflict with her official duties.  Hell, she's a damn lawyer.  She knew damn what she was doing.

Hey, Gravity Sucks.  Imagine being the NASA Administrator while you were simultaneously accepting donations from Boeing, Lockheed Martin, and Russia for your personal organization.  How do you think that would have gone over?  Well, assuming your last name isn't Clinton. ;)

"It is important to keep in mind what the Clinton Foundation mainly does: It does precious little in the way of actual philanthropy ($9 million worth out of $140 million in revenue for 2013) but instead spends almost all of its money on salaries and travel expenses for various Clintons (including Chelsea Clinton, now its vice chairman), Democratic allies, toadies, flunkies, hangers-on, and assorted minions. It is a full-employment sinecure program for friends and family of the Clinton political operation, and very little more."

All of this bothers me more than being so thinned skinned one feels they must declare a war on memes. WTF? There's actually substance here. A hell of a lot of substance!

Trump - Declares war on enemy invaders. (Be clear, terrorists, not foreigners per se.)

Clinton - Declares war on memes.

Juan

The worst thing about the Clintons is that they have suckered so many good, honest, caring liberals into supporting them.
