I lived in my car for months and had a job at the time but couldn't find a place to live.
So get over it. I paid into the system and am receiving benefits.

You are on government assistance. You are essentially on welfare. Yet you think tax payers should foot the bill for you to rack up credit card debit to visit a UFO conference. It should be illegal for you to even obtain a credit card while on government assistance. You also live in government assistance housing, receive government paid for medical care, etc.

So when is next inspection? Did they just give up? Why did you originally say Kathy could only stay a month or else you would face eviction? Does the apartment complex know 2 people are living in the apartment?  or did you not tell them because they would raise the rent?

I read the riot  act to Kathy about her selfish behavior in continually complaining about stuff. I told her I had never asked her to take me anywhere IMPORTANT except for doctor's visits and that she gets to go anywhere she wants with Patty all the time and runs all over the place while I sit here bored shitless and I helped her buy not one but 3 cars. I even broke down crying twice and sobbing.
She's not to bitch about it in the future...

You ought to know with your fiscal conservatism there is a lot more sensitivity to this than in the past, what with a government that not only robs us blind but rubs our noses in it and farts in our faces while walking away laughing, for good measure. There used to be a little more discretion involved with this. Using federal subsidies to travel to a UFO conference and shop in Los Angeles is going to piss people off and you know it. No different than Malia and Sasha going off to frolic in Milan, only you and Kathy aren't flying Air Force One to do it.

I used to be a flaming liberal. Used to be. Every day I become more and more conservative thanks to graft like this shit. I'm glad that I live paycheck to paycheck while someone on SSI gets to buy Macs, go to UFO conferences and generally live high on the hog. Next time I hear that some Repbulican wants to cut SSI or any other "entitlement" program, I will clap heartily and say "Hear, hear, Sir. Do what you must.". If only it were Falkie, but I work in social services and see this shit on a regular basis.

People in the Politics threads on this very site used to insist they would never believe anyone was happy living off the taxpayers and wouldn't improve themselves if they could.  I haven't been there for awhile but I doubt the ones who also read here are posting that stuff anymore.
