After stumbling over this thread like a babe in the woods, I find myself unable to stay away.  No matter how shocked, appalled or horrified I become I always seem to stumble back for one final look. I feel like a heroin addict looking for a final hit before I get clean.  This ends today.  This thread started off trying to give the guy helpful advice that he refused.  It then took on the futile effort of trying to fix stupid and finally devolved into what it is today.   After perusing more of this thread than I am comfortable admitting, I feel this poster sums up the life of Falkie nicely.  Time to turn around and walk away. With that, I whoozit, solemnly pledge to stay away from this horrible den of iniquity.  At least until I want to take another final peek before I quit the thread.

I originally joined Bellgab to discuss Art and to throw some shade at Noory, but I also got sucked in. I'm rarely on the Art or Noory threads. It's impossible to look away, let alone stay away from this hive of villany and scum that is the Falkie thread.

Mine's in honour of Falkie.

No, I was not sleeping all day but it was too hot to sleep all night so I stayed up watching Nero Wolfe until it cooled off.
Then I got Kathy's new glasses ordered, got a refund from a power supply for my Macbook that never arrived and with Kathy's help installed the new part for the portable a/c onto the hose and then into the window and its running now.
With 98+ temperatures, its almost impossible to sleep.
It's 84 in here right now but the a/c is set at 61 and the room shouljd cool off within an hour.
As soon as it uploads there will be a special message for BIG SHITS, that congenital and serial liar and correspondent with perverts.
Have a cooler afternoon all.

Here's a picture of the a/c temperature setting. It will be clearer in the video.
And the temperature in the room before I turned the a/c on as well.
I will post a picture of the temperature getting lower in here later when we get back.
Its dropped 6 degrees since I turned on the a/c.

Cliffs notes: Guy bilking the system shows a complete disregard of the government gifts he is given by posting brags and taunts of maximum wastefulness to people who pay into the system and in the past have tried to help him.

A guy who is on the government dole claims he can't clean his apartment to keep his section 8 inspection happy partially because it's too damn hot to dust. All the months of summer he's sitting on a 11k BTU air conditioner for which he's simply waiting for a part to connect the exhaust hose to the window.
Now that he has the part he turns on the AC and sets it to a temp of 61, presumably because it is the coldest setting. He does this in a state where there are power issues and even rolling blackouts in the past. He does this presumably while his electric bill is being lowered by those of us who pay extra every month for the applicable program and then brags openly about it in a taunting way to people who work or have worked for a living and who surely set their AC units to something reasonable like 74.
There is a hose which drains away the water generated by the unit and he leads it into a bucket. He wishes to get a bigger, presumably meaning longer, hose so he can run it out the window to dump it away instead of putting it in the cats water bowls in a state where there has been an extreme water shortage.
At no point is a return to work mentioned now that the apartment can be of a suitable temperature.

Also I find it hilarious Falkie waited all summer until Fall to order the part. Granted I am sure it will be someone else's fault for the delay.

Why does Falkie live in a hot part of the country? Is it becouse the storage units are cheaper there? Is it the welfare benifits? Hey Falkie why don't you move on up here to Alaska. We can forge some paper work and make you into a native. Once you get native status you can go to the doctor for free and get a handsome check from the government every now and then. Heck big guy we could have adventures like panning for gold and making totem poles. Also Falkie wouldn't overheat so easily here. Sadly though Kathy would be quit the catch up here so Falkie would have to keep a close eye on her or else she would get plowed like a snow drift by all the lonely guys.
