Again, publicly it is in Art's best interest to be against the harrassement of SiriusXm. The harrassing of SiriusXm should be stopped, but I dont think the movement should be stopped. I say, get the word out, but in a peaceful, fun loving, creative way that causes harm to no one, but raises awareness to all.

So what happens if Art negotiates and they still won't release him from his non compete ?

Do we go on the attack again ?

I'm still gonna buy some stock next month because I feel in that way I could make my voice heard directly as a stockholder if Art's negotiations fail.

Just for the record, if this hadn't stopped, MY next step would have been to contact Jim Cramer since he's been recommending a BUY for Sirius XM stock.

This was the crux of my post about "highly questionable, if not illegal, tactics against SXM and Premeire" just a short while (maybe 20 minutes) before Art's post asking for a halt in the on-slaught against SXM.  Regardless whether this plea came from Art or at the behest of counsel, it's the right thing to do. When the other guy is holding the cards, it doesn't play to piss him off.

I think he needs to actually do that registration thing with his Twitter account so he gets the "officially verified" icon on it... he can post links to his announcements from that and there won't be much cause for arguing against them.

I wasn't in on the "hammer Sirius" bandwagon other than to cancel my subscription, tell them why and answer their questionnaire as to why my telephone conversation didn't resolve my issue. I am and was prepared. I doubt there was any harm done other than to further solidify Sirius management.

Art Bell has now acted in good faith towards Sirius by asking that the harassment stop, I presume in hopes that Sirius will see it as a good faith gesture and see the error of their ways, LOL. If Sirius fails to also act in good faith, again, then I certainly am open to all sorts of publicity regarding Sirius and how it treats those it deals with.

We must remember that these guys ONLY care about money. They don't care about talent, quality, morality, fairness or doing what is right. Their only goal is money. That is a flawed business model to begin with but most of those making the decisions will get paid lots and lots of money for doing a poor job and will get the same huge sums of money even if Sirius fails. That is what happens when so much money is in the hands of so few people. We have only ourselves to blame for supporting and voting for a system that sustains and encourages the upward mobility of money to the few.

In sum, if Art Bell is to have any power, we need to work with him. I would be surprised if Sirius execs didn't fight this all the way to the courts. Then they could blame the courts for what was really their mistakes.

Well Sirius are still replying to normal questions and requests.
