Help, I don't know what this means. Inline full size?

I'll do it if you explain it.

(Wow, I haven't said that in years.)

Inline full size means that it will be the full-sized image in line with the text of your post.  I personally like this option best.

For the thread, is that something MV could do?

Create a new account  :)

But that blows if someone really uses FB and keeps in touch with people that way.  Should have at least gotten a warning, IMO.

I have an account just for spamming.

We haven't heard from Art since the 13th (an eternity at this place).  He's been here, as recently as in the wee hours of this morning.

You need to check in, Art!

If only I'd have thought of that.  That's what I'll do now!

Obviously 100% speculation on my part, but MAYBE he has been advised to stop posting in forums by his lawyer until this gets resolved.

If Art gets out of the NC, he should definitely considering using this for bumper music. Has that awesome classic-coast feel to it!

Sounds reasonable

And that would probably be very good advice!   :)

Good idea, but we also need something funny and unique. Something that even non-Art Bell fans will share to really get the message out.

Crystal Gayle wrote a song for Art. Could it be time for another?

Keep up on the pressure on Sirius folks. Do not relent. Keep posting to their FB page and hammering Sirius.

I thought I would try my hand at iMovie and do my bit for the cause. Not quite up to Saucy Rossy's standards but it is my first attempt. Go easy on me.

My life is HELL right now because of a non-compete. I can't go work for another public relations agency in this town for another six months. And yeah, my signing it was a condition of my last job, which ended up sucking royally. It's a drag when you sign away a chunk of your life for a job that isn't worth five minutes of it.

I'm not Art Bell, though. I would think someone with his legendary â€" and I say that with all sincerity â€" reputation in the talk radio industry wouldn't have to screw with such drivel, but hell, maybe the more significant you are, the more crap you actually do have to swear allegiance to.

Speaking of, I had a weird dream that the devil himself offered me millions and millions of dollars to be the mother of the antichrist. The horrifying thing is, I think I was going to take him up on it. I had to go to a fertility clinic to make sure I was still fertile. I woke up right when some weird lady was showing me a giant chart that illustrated how many working eggs I still had.

I must have been worrying about money in my sleep. And ovulating.  :-\

What state do you live in?

So far I'm fine on Sirius, but kind of gun shy now (I'm such a wimp).

Well if he has legal counsel I am SURE they told Art this. But that is what makes the theater that is Art Bell so darn exciting, he does not play by everyone else's rules. It's why he's a talent and the other one is simply a bore (boory)

Tennessee. I got a lawyer. He was really reassuring on the phone. He said, "Trust me, these things hardly ever hold up in court, especially in this economy right now."

Then he looked at it and said, "Well, damn â€" this one's actually pretty bulletproof."

It was fun.

Huh? Let me see if I have this right: somebody who's been here about a month, and who has spent his/her time trashing the site with stupid photoshops and inane posts, and generally acting like a spoiled child, ratchets his/her punk up a notch to post a smart-ass invitation to a respected, responsible and mature member, who has been here over 2 years, to leave the forum. Because, you know, McPhallus said something which ThruTarmac apparently disagrees with. And posting stuff like "See ya! Don't the door hit ya on the way out" is how the kiddies handle things on the short-bus playground that is this asinine thread. Have I got it right?

I want to puke.

Yep, you're right...

I'd also use a proxy so I could swap through IPs if they want to try to block you that way ;)

PS Fave thank you! I love my Avatar!

I just read an article about how online activists impacted the advertising revenue for Rush Limbaugh's show.

Here's what an "insider" posted in a blog:

Uch. If you had any idea how much of my day is spent loading up PSAs and crappy MAB commercials to cover up the commercials of actual advertisers bailing from the Rush Limbaugh show. The only paying customers left are the flotsom and jetsom of the ad barrel; every scam website, colon blow medication, phony tax restoration outfits and erectile dysfunction herbs
.

This isn't about Rush, it's about the power of social media and the internet.  And I don't even know if it's legit, but we DO wield a lot of power if we can keep on target and be relentless.

Granted, this isn't boycotting advertisers (I think Bob Crane is probably already in our court  :) but when the message reaches that critical mass and the spotlight is on the perp, they take steps to rectify their reputation.

So full speed ahead!

Anyone know a good alternative to Photoshop for Macs?  I am feeling left out :(

Yup. Commercial logs at some of these stations have 'NO RUSH' printed above the spots they don't want to air on his show.
