I knew it... aldous started a fucking cult and I wasn't invited...

Hahaha...yeah, I got left behind, too.   ;D

You guys care about this more than Art at this point.

Even if you do somehow get him out of his NC (unlikely, since Sirius is a huge company), you still have to hope that he and his small staff can somehow come up with a streaming solution that actually works consistently to Art's standards.

All the while, you're dealing with a guy liable to change his mind at any time.  We've already seen him do this about fighting the NC.

Maybe I will pop back in here downstream, but I'm out of this thread for now.

Well Sirius are still replying to normal questions and requests.

Six minutes ago someone asked if there are any 24/7 Christmas Song stations (I guess they want a soundtrack to go along with them committing sewer pipe) and "Kate" replied a few minutes later.

Apparently Jess had to be committed. Kate is the new Jess.

Ask them if they have any stations commemorating the death of Paul McCartney

Let's start answering customer questions before they get to. Always end with #freeartbell

I've started to do this.

Who did you contact originally? I sent an email to the directors Tuesday or Wed and never got a response.

I've started to do this.

Another tactic could be to bait them with a rather innocuous question regarding their product or services. Then when they answer it you come on with some clever zinger and always end in #freeartbell.

Aaron's going to work a resolution?  Guess that does it.  Mission accomplished.   ;)

I sent a message with a whole bunch of sirius emails in a BCC. I got all the addy's from a post on here. I think nooryisawsome posted the list.

yup

Cargo cult

We are just an island of simple minded superstitious Asian islanders.  (Ironically Perfect for Art!)

Tell them they can contact me as well. I've been a subscriber for 4+ years and am furious. I can PM you my info to send them if you want.

Ha ha. Good one.

I guess they'd have to be stupid to fall for that one again from you.

Others should give it a go too.

Very valid points.  Some of us may be campaigning for something that Art may not want.  I love Art, but he's on the fence regarding just about everything.  "Free Art" is a lot of fun but it may not be rooted in reality as Art may not care about the NC clause.

Someone else try it. I've been answering questions all day and they know my FB name too well.

They mistook my "Non-compete? Subscribers deplete!" post as some type of question and asked how they could help. Once I responded about Art I got radio silence (pun intended).

I thought I would try my hand at iMovie and do my bit for the cause. Not quite up to Saucy Rossy's standards but it is my first attempt. Go easy on me.

Loving this, Jazmunda -- a LOT!  Thanks!  And thanks to the intro to Thanks. And thank for the intro to Boom Crash Opera.

Here is one of the lists I sent letters to. Just copy and paste it into your BCC. A few of them got returned as not working but obviously some did!

Done

Hello,

My name is Daniel xxxx and I have been a loyal Sirius subscriber for over 4 years. I have enjoyed the programming Sirius has offered, listening to a variety of stations. In mid-September, I was pleasantly surprised to discover Art Bell's Dark Matter on channel 104. For various, reasons I understand the relationship with Art came to a conclusion. I was however, quite upset to discover Coast to Coast AM with George Noory was selected to replace Dark Matter's time slot. This was precisely the time of show I became a Sirius subscriber to avoid.

I would like Sirius to do the following:

A) Remove Coast to Coast AM from its programming lineup. The show is bland and engaging. Additionally, why are subscribers paying for what is offered for free over traditional radio. I am happy having a similar type of show, just not with George Noory.
B) Release Art from his Non-compete clause. Not releasing him will only make my (and others) disdain for Sirius grow.

Failure to do these will result in losing me as a customer.

Thank you very much for your time,

Daniel xxxx, PhD
