I finally was able to catch to the last gabcast. Good show! Entertaining, I must say. Gravity's explanation of how we predict sun flares, IB's conspiracy talk and Sredni's and MV's sleep paralysis stories were all very interesting. It was nice to hear all your voices too. And we had a cameo appearance from Jackstar. Woo!

NASA released a YouTube video of super hires images of the sun, taken from the Solar Dynamics Observatory (SDO). The video is set to music.  This is one of the satellites I mentioned the other day on the GabCast.  I had a small part to play in making sure that this satellite would work correctly during its development.  If you like space stuff and are awed by the physics of the sun, I think you will enjoy the beauty of our star.
