A good, new host for MITD would have to be someone so ambitious that they would be willing to put up with the toxic situation that is DMDN/MITD.  So far, I know of two perfectly great suggested replacements who turned it down due to not wanting to either (1) have to self-fund or (2) have to put up with the DMDN/MITD toxic stew.

Yes, and the timing is suspect too. The 20th was the first day you could subscribe so I am guessing the one coming up will show a sharp drop in recurring subscription payments. I gave up and unsubbed yesterday which will take effect on the 20th.

If we are to believe Art, the network is supporting itself financially and he is not funneling any of his own money into it in order to keep it afloat.  Perhaps that's just about to change now and he can see the writing on the wall; hence the plea from him to support the show by subscribing.  Sorry, Art, I would never pay $4.99 a month for a show I hardly listen to anymore because the host has zero talent and reads at its poor listeners even worse than Linda Moulton-Howe.
