I find it interesting how in one police report the responding officers found Art "laying on the ground with no injuries".  His wife made the 911 call after he called her and requested it from the ground.  In an earlier report he asked "his producer" to call 911.  In another, Art called 911 on behalf of his neighbor.  He wanted a threatening phone call documented, but not reported.  Hmmmmm.  Lots of deflection here.  This is the last of my useless analysis, but why is he trying to stay one step away from actually personally reporting these incidents (especially the gun shots).

I've read a bunch of the type of posts Art seems to be referring to here. They are generally skeptical, rather than implying that Art is lying. Again, the word is skeptical. Based on the information available, many are not convinced that Art has been shot at or that his life is truly in danger. At the same time, nobody seems to doubt that Art believes that this is what's going on.

Does that make them uncivil or unsympathetic? I don't think so, although I wouldn't defend the phrasing of every skeptical comment. I like Art, I loved the show, but that doesn't mean I or anyone else shouldn't question the nature or existence of either Bigfoot or this mysterious Night Stalker. In fact, we have more evidence of Bigfoot at this point then we do of this shooter. Right now, the strongest case is that someone is trying to unnerve and intimidate Art and his family. And they've succeeded, no doubt.

Unfortunately, we have Art seeming to exaggerate the threat to his family, based on the evidence and the police response so far. Now he is exaggerating the extremity of the critical response of his fans. We're on your side, Art, but i sure wish you would calm down and try not to make the situation worse than it is.
