I've heard good recommendations on xubuntu. I'll probably try it on the spare box over the holidays.

elementary os is slick, ubuntu based.

Guys remember the very first thing that started this whole fiasco was the shadow person that Art saw in his studio. This stalker guy could be the shadow dude and it uses shadow bullets, shadow rifle, shadow getaway car, etc.

I reckon that would explain the lack of physical evidence on scene upon arrival of Nye County Patrol, and the fact that subsequent patrols did not find anyone. Remember how fast the shadow dude moved? Art said in a millisecond it was beside him, then suddenly behind him.

I spent a couple hours a while back trying to do that, but couldn't get it to work. Got the feeling that Windows 8 was preventing it somehow. I may try again later.

If you decide to, check out this article. Steps 1 & 14 are highly recomended, the rest are optional depending on what you are going to use it for. On step 2, I'd stick w/ Synaptic only, although some peeps like "aptitude".

Another good option if you're technically inclined. Widows first though to avoid boot loader problems.
