Get Xubuntu, but stick with 14.04

I've heard good recommendations on xubuntu. I'll probably try it on the spare box over the holidays.

Or you could dual boot on a separate drive or partition.

Yeah, I'm willing to bet KABC is putting the nail in the coffin given this "Countdown" pic and a copy of the text stating Art's "resignation." This is the full list of radio stations if anyone cares to investigate further - http://artbell.com/radio-stations/. I'm also a prior lurker become new user. I had to comment after this latest mess.

Guys remember the very first thing that started this whole fiasco was the shadow person that Art saw in his studio. This stalker guy could be the shadow dude and it uses shadow bullets, shadow rifle, shadow getaway car, etc.

I reckon that would explain the lack of physical evidence on scene upon arrival of Nye County Patrol, and the fact that subsequent patrols did not find anyone. Remember how fast the shadow dude moved? Art said in a millisecond it was beside him, then suddenly behind him.
It was the mouse.

"Damn it!  I don't like peanut butter!"

From all the activity on the forum; Art's coming back?

My wife just asked "wtf are you laughing at up there?"

i've been asked this question many times when reading bellgab.  rarely am i capable of providing an adequately summarized explanation.

Not a bad theory, but I think Bill Gates sent some boys out because Art wouldn't upgrade to Win10. ;D

Run from Windows Art... RUN !

Let me guess... It depends how you define the word "it" in: "Art Hangs It Up For the Last Time".  He's not retiring, so what does "it" mean?

Now there's a thought. What does "it" mean? In Jorch and Tommy's case it could be a strap-on.

Why complain?  I hope he backpedals all the way to that microphone.

Me too.  Art, if you read this:  BACKPEDAL AWAY!  It's not too late.  :(

Apparently "it" means: Art's giant brass balls.

Giant brass balls; allowing himself to post in here today saying--He never said he "retired". Then implying, he didn't even intend to quit permanently...

And we get mentioned on Future Theater... because BellGab loves discussing people that screwed us.

A large portion of his listeners might not mind being continuously jerked around, but I doubt the affiliates like it.

I spent a couple hours a while back trying to do that, but couldn't get it to work. Got the feeling that Windows 8 was preventing it somehow. I may try again later.

If you decide to, check out this article. Steps 1 & 14 are highly recomended, the rest are optional depending on what you are going to use it for. On step 2, I'd stick w/ Synaptic only, although some peeps like "aptitude".

No, Art is not coming back. Mrs. Bell shut him down.
He's doing damage control for Rowland & Wade; trying to salvage something for them to hang on to.

Uhm, I object to the derailing of this thread. Could we get back to the crucifixion?

Another good option if you're technically inclined. Widows first though to avoid boot loader problems.

Jesus walks into a hotel and hands the guy at the desk 3 nails, and says "can you put me up for the night?"

Thanks Sandman, I think I'll give it a shot probably within the next couple of weeks.
