His choice to talk about how he nearly died from a flu and was getting old and how it takes longer to recuperate prefacing a comment about an update to the "situation" in July does not instill me with great confidence in a triumphant return. Seems like he's cushioning a blow.

All I have heard on talk radio today is how the footballs were deflated this weekend and how the NFL is going to do an investigation. They were supposedly under inflated by someone.

Maybe it is a cynical reference to that.

Yes, it is obviously that. The Patriots were using under inflated footballs in the AFC championship. It is obviously an attempt at humor.

Scully, I think even the most casual consumer of sports and news would be completely unable to avoid the non-stop barage of stories relating to the New England Patriots underinflated football story.

however, I believe it was Art's direct reference to his... Well, you know. It wasn't exactly what you would call a humorous double entendre.

We have no idea what Art is planning in July. He really hasn't discussed it since about a year and a half ago on the Spec sheet. He could have changed his mind on the podcast only, the method how it will be distributed,etc.

Really the only thing we have heard is that he got mad at Keith, got un-mad at Keith, and still plans to return in July.

Ge could have changed his mind on a number of things since the time he has been on the specsheet.

If it's only a podcast it really isn't going to matter when it's recorded. But he stated he wants to go up against C2C. But that could have changed.

I think most of his fans want a terrestrial radio show with it also being available in podcast form for a small fee.
